The grapes used for the Bründlmayer Zweigelt ripen in the wine-growing area of Kamptal, located about 80 kilometres west of Vienna. In the nose, the wine is spicy with lovely flavours of wild berries and toasted notes, complemented by a brief hint of pepper. The mild to medium-bodied wine has a relatively youthful tannin content.The Bründlmayer Zweigelt matured in stainless steel tanks and in mostly used Austrian oak casks. Zweigelt is a blend consisting of the two autochthonous Austrian St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch grape varieties and is highly regarded throughout Austria for its fruitiness and freshness.Enjoy this Austrian red wine with pasta, light game dishes and, in summer, slightly cooled with BBQ.

Dürnberg Zweigelt Falkenstein 2022

The vines for the Dürnberg Zweigelt Bodenschatz grow on weathered lacustrine lime and clay soils. The soil is rich in humus, which stores water well. The fully ripe, healthy grapes are harvested at the beginning of October. After harvest, the burst grapes are fermented in tubs for two weeks initially. Afterwards, they are pressed and aged for five to eight months partly in 500-litre oak casks and partly in steel tanks, resulting in a complex, elegant red wine with a cool minerality.On the nose, the aromatic and well-balanced Zweigelt offers fine, spicy nuances, along with strong cherry aromas. The vegan wine is full-bodied, elegant and creamy on the palate, with fine tannins. Enjoy the Dürnberg Zweigelt Bodenschatz with meat dishes or ripe cheeses.

Die Pfaffl Cuvee Privat ist eine elegante Rotweincuvee, die die Stärken zweier Rebsorten vereint: die Fruchtigkeit und Weichheit des Merlot sowie die Würze und Struktur des St. Laurent. Der Wein stammt aus dem Weinviertel in Niederösterreich, wo die Familie Pfaffl für ihre hochwertigen Weine bekannt ist. Dieser Rotwein hat eine tief rubinrote Farbe mit violetten Reflexen. In der Nase zeigen sich intensive Aromen von reifen dunklen Beeren wie Brombeeren und Schwarzkirschen, begleitet von etwas Karamell und dunkler Edelschokolade. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich die Cuvee vollmundig und samtig mit einer ausgewogenen Tanninstruktur und zarten Röstaromen. Pfaffl Vom Haus St. Laurent 2025

Niederösterreich, das größte Weinbaugebiet Österreichs. Hier wächst der St. Laurent in einem für die blaue Traube idealem Terroir. Lössböden, warme Tage und kühle Nächte sind vorherrschend in dieser Region.Nach der Ernte werden die Trauben entrappt und gepresst. Bei einer kontrollierten Temperatur von 28°C erfolgt die Gärung in Edelstahltanks für 261 Tage. Durch regelmäßiges Umpumpen des Rebsafts werden so viel wie möglich Farbe und Geschmack extrahiert. Nach der Gärung reift der Wein für 6 Monate in gebrauchten Eichenfässern.Die Farbe des Pfaffl Vom Haus St. Laurent ist rubinrot. Fruchtige Noten von Heidelbeeren, Kirschen und einer gewissen Würze sind dem Bouquet enthalten. Der Geschmack ist fruchtig mit dezenten Röstnoten und überrascht den Gaumen zusätzlich mit Gewürzen und Kräutern.

Made from Austria’s most important red wine grape variety, 30% of this red wine was aged in used barriques and 70% in stainless steel tanks. After roughly six months, the Pfaffl Vom Haus Zweigelt was bottled in Burgundy bottles. Try this Zweigelt with steaks, but also with pasta and pizza as well as various roasts and other meat dishes.
