Pedro Escudero Valdelagunde Cuvée Especial Verdejo DO is an intense, rich wine, in which the flavours of stone fruit (peach, apricot) predominate. Spicy notes appear, lightly, with a touch of vanilla from the oak barrels, accompanying the characteristic, bitter almond aftertaste of a Verdejo wine.This wine has been made exclusively from Verdejo grapes harvested from vineyards of the Bodegas Pedro Escudero, rooted in the rocky lands of the Fuente Elvira vineyard in the village La Seca. Part of the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats, part is a maceration most, other part has paralysed the fermentation and the last part in French and American oak casks.

The Protos Verdejo DO is made from 100% of the grape variety of the same name. The Rueda growing region in north-western Spain is the home of Verdejo, which is almost exclusively cultivated here. Rio Lindo Verdejo Oak Aged 2024

The Rio Lindo Verdejo Oak Aged is made from 100% Verdejo grapes and comes from the Spanish wine region of Castilla-La Mancha. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the white wine matures for a few months in wooden barrels, which gives it additional structure and a little more body without masking the typical freshness of the grape.In the glass, it has a light yellow color with green reflections, which underlines its lively fruitiness. White fruits unfold on the nose, accompanied by fine vanilla and wood tones. On the palate, the wine is balanced and round, with a long, delicate finish.The Rio Lindo Verdejo Oak Aged is an excellent accompaniment to grilled fish, seafood or mature cheese and develops its full aroma spectrum at a drinking temperature of 8-10 °C.

The Telmo Rodriguez Basa DO Rueda has an enticingly fruity and spicy bouquet offering notes of passion fruit, melon, citrus fruit and pears, along with nuances of fennel and hints of minerals. This blend, consisting of Verdejo and Viura, is elegant, fresh and very harmonious on the palate, with a wonderful texture and a lovely, mineral finish.The grapes for this wonderfully accessible white wine from the Rueda region come from bush vines that are cultivated without wire trellis training systems. Valdelagunde Semidulce Verdejo Viura 2024

Paolo Escudero from the Bodegas Pedro Escudero winery used Viura and Verdejo grapes to produce the vegan Valdelagunde Semidulce. As the Viura grapes ripen earlier, the grapes were harvested at different times. The Verdejo grapes, which were harvested later, were only included in the final phase of the fermentation process.This resulted in a unique sparkling white wine with a natural sweetness, low acidity and low alcohol content. This wonderful cuvée from Spain seduces with summery aromas of melon, pineapple and fresh apples.Serve the Valdelagunde Semidulce Verdejo Viura well chilled. It goes very well with white meat, fish and spicy dishes and is a great terrace wine for warm summer evenings when drunk on its own.
