Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Rosé 2024

The Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah grape varieties characterize this Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Rosé. The grapes grow on the hills of the Herault Valley on clayey, chalky soils and are vinified individually for this cuvée, with the fermentation process lasting two weeks at 17 degrees Celsius. The wine from Domaines Paul Mas then matured on the lees for 40 days. New coated cement tanks were used. The fruit concentration was maintained by regular pumping over.The Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Rosé is characterized by a very clear, light pink color. The nose has aromas of red berries, cherries and tropical fruits. On the palate, this French wine is wonderfully fresh, slightly acidic, powerful but round and with a good length on the finish.This dry rosé wine is simply perfect with seafood, shellfish or pork.

Peppoli Chianti Classico DOCG 2023

Der Pèppoli Chianti Classico ist ein Rotwein aus der Toskana, den das Ausnahme-Weingut Antinori seit 1985 kreiert und der weltweit eine große Fangemeinde hat. Im Glas strahlt dieser italienische Rotwein aus den malerischen Landschaften zwischen Florenz und Siena rubinrot. Der Pèppoli Chianti Classico duftet herrlich fruchtbetont nach Kirschen, Johannisbeeren und Erdbeeren. Dazu kommen wunderbar harmonische Noten von Blüten. Vor allem Veilchen und Lavendel sind hier prägend. Würzige Nuancen (Lakritz) und feine Röstaromen vom Ausbau im Holz runden das Bouquet ab.Am Gaumen ist der Pèppoli trocken und angenehm weich, mit einer animierenden Frische und Fruchtigkeit. Der Chianti Classico besitzt durch den Ausbau im Holz viel Eleganz und Struktur, die samtigen, zarten Tannine sind gekonnt eingebunden. Das Finale ist geprägt von einer tollen Würze und Fruchtbetontheit. Dazu kommen die unterschwelligen Röstaromen, die das Geschmackserlebnis perfekt machen.Der Pèppoli Chianti Classico von Antinori wurde zum größten Teil über 9 Monate in großen Fässern aus slawonischer Eiche ausgebaut. Ein kleinerer Teil reifte in Barriques und in Edelstahlbehältern.

Roma wines date back to ancient times, when they were already very popular. The Poggio Le Volpi Roma Rosso Classico DOC is also a dedication to Rome and its historical greatness. The Italian red wine comes from the Lazio region, one of the most important territories steeped in history with an ancient wine tradition and the mineral power of the land formed by the Lazio volcano.Montepulciano, Syrah and Cesanese grapes are blended together in the Roma DOC and matured for several months in barriques. In the glass, this creation is a deep, bright ruby red. Dark and mineral aromas envelop the nose, enriched by the aromatic power of the grape varieties. The wonderful aroma is reminiscent of ripe red fruit, cherries and red flowers, which are enveloped by a very pleasant balsamic note. On the palate, the dry wine is full-bodied and complex and its tannins are subtly integrated. Rainbow’s End Syrah 2023

The Rainbows End Syrah comes from the family winery of the same name in the picturesque Banghoek Valley in Stellenbosch and embodies the powerful yet elegant style of South African Syrah wines. The winery is known for its authentic, handcrafted red wines with character - and this is reflected in this Syrah.In the glass, the wine is an intense purple red, which already indicates its depth and concentration. Aromatic notes of rosemary, thyme and lavender unfold on the nose, accompanied by a hint of leather - an exciting, spicy and herbal aroma that leaves you wanting more. On the palate, the Rainbows End Syrah delights with ripe black plums, juicy blueberries and powerfully structured, yet supple tannins. The finish is long and juicy, with a pleasantly spicy aftertaste.The Syrah (Shiraz) - a blend of Argentinian clone 9 and French clones 174 and 99 - is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The barrel ageing is divided into 35% new wood, 25% second fill, 25% third fill and 15% French oak barrels. During maturation, the wine was racked twice to promote clarity and structure. The Syrah () was bottled unfiltered and without fining, which emphasizes its natural depth and expressiveness. Fine sediment can therefore form in the bottle over time - a sign of quality craftsmanship.Rainbows End Syrah is an excellent accompaniment to rack of lamb with a herb crust, spicy braised beef dishes or Mediterranean cuisine with rosemary and thyme. Matured hard cheese is also an ideal accompaniment to this wine.The recommended drinking temperature is 16-18°C.

The small, aromatic Shiraz grapes from the McLaren Vale region come from vines that are more than 30 years old, forming the basis for the RedHeads Coco Rotie Syrah Viognier. On the nose, the red wine from Australia offers notes of raspberries, blackberries and apricots (resulting from the Viognier grape variety). The bouquet is complemented by nuances of dark chocolate, raspberry liquor and smoky notes of cedar and vanilla. The wine is velvety on the palate, showing a strong tannin structure and a great density.The RedHeads Coco Rotie Syrah Viognier matured for 14 months in oak casks, of which 20% were new barrels. Für Johan Reyneke, Besitzer des Weingutes, ist die biodynamische Methode der Weg, um im Wein einen guten Ausdruck des Terroirs zu erzielen. Im Glas zeigt sich der Reyneke Organic Syrah in einem tiefen Purpurrot mit violetten Reflexen. Die parfümierte Nase zeigt Aromen von weißem Pfeffer, Gewürzen und roten Kirschen. Gefolgt von Untertönen von Rosmarin und Lavendel. Am Gaumen ist der Reyneke Orgnaic Syrah frisch und lebendig mit saftigen Tanninen und einer ausgewogenen Struktur. Schichten von Früchten, Gewürzen und trockenen Kräutern ergeben einen eleganten und gut verfeinerten Wein mit einem anhaltenden Abgang. Der Wein reift 14 Monate in Eichenfässern und weitere 3 Monate in Edelstahltanks, um nach der endgültigen Assemblage eine Harmonisierung zu erreichen. Bevor das Endprodukt auf den Markt kommt, reift er 8 Monate in der Flasche.Der Reyneke Organic Syrah passt hervorragend zu gegrilltem Fleisch, Lammgerichten, Wild, würzigen Eintöpfen und gereiftem Käse.

Der Rust en Vrede Estate ist ein Cuvee aus den Rebsorten Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah und Merlot. Der dominierende Cabernet gibt dem Wein herrliche Noten von schwarzer Johannisbeere und weiteren dunklen Früchten wie Heidelbeere. Der Syrah sorgt für eine schöne Würze mit erdigen Aromen. Der Merlot steuert sanfte florale Aromen von Veilchen und Jasmin bei. Eine Kombination, die am Gaumen wirklich Spaß macht. Die Farbe ist purpurrot und in der Nase finden sich Noten von frischem Leder, Tabak, Maulbeeren und Waldboden wieder. Der langanhaltende Abgang wird durch samtig weiche Tannine bestimmt.Der Rust en Vrede Estate reifte 18 Monate in 100% französischen Fässern, die mittelstark getoastet waren. Der Rust en Vrede Estate Vineyard Syrah ist purpurfarben mit einem schwarzen Kern. Er riecht voluminös und vielschichtig nach Blaubeeren, süßer Holzwürze, Vanille und einem floralen Mix. Am Gaumen ist er hoch konzentriert mit einer leicht tintigen Note. Gefolgt von herrlichen Aromen einer Brombeermarmelade, einem Hauch Minze, gepfefferter Salami und Veilchen.Die feine Säure und strukturierten Tannine sorgen für eine selten zu findende Eleganz.
