The bouquet of the Spice Route Chakalaka is characterised by notes of cloves, plums, white pepper and an elegant spice, complemented by wonderfully integrated oak aromas. On the palate, this red wine from South Africa is aromatic, juicy and velvety, showing a great balance and skilfully integrated tannins.The Shiraz (major proportion), Carignan, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Petite Sirah and Tannat grape varieties unite to create this taste experience from the Western Cape Province. The grape varieties matured separately for 12 months in American and French oak casks before blending. Stellenzicht Arenite Syrah 2018

Die Trauben für den Stellenzicht Arenite Syrah stammen aus Stellenbosch in Südafrika, dem Sitz des Weingutes Stellenzicht. Arenite beschreibt dabei die Sandsteinböden auf denen die Reben wachsen. Es handelt sich um felsige Böden in denen die Wurzeln tief eindringen. Das verleiht dem Wein unter anderem seinen mineralischen Charakter. Der Wein duftet wunderschön nach satten roten und dunklen Früchten, weißem Pfeffer und einem Hauch Lakritze. Am Gaumen ist der Wein herzhaft und üppig, ganz typisch für einen Syrah von dieser Qualität. Die Reifung fand in gebrauchten französischen Fässern über einen Zeitraum von 15 Monaten statt. Das sorgt für Struktur und Frische mit allerlei Gewürznoten und einem üppigen Abgang.Der Stellenzicht Arenite Syrah überzeugt durch seine feine Aromatik und Finesse. Dieser dichte Wein macht besonders Spaß an einem ruhigen Abend zuhause oder zu kräftigen Fleischspeisen. Auch eine Käseplatte mit Stilton oder Roquefort begleitet dieser Rotwein ganz vorzüglich.

Der Stellenzicht Thunderstone Red ist ein südafrikanischer Blend aus den Rebsorten Cinsault, Syrah und Cabernet Sauvignon. Die Trauben werden einzeln vergoren und nach einer 18-monatigen Reife in französischen Eichenfässern gemischt und abgefüllt. Es entsteht ein Rotwein mit zartem Duft und komplexen Aromen, die in der Nase vornehmlich Aromen roten Beerenfrüchten, Kirschen und herzhaften Gewürzen zeigen. Der Thunderstone Red von Stellenzicht hat am Gaumen eine mittelkräftige Struktur mit überzeugender voller Frische und saftiger roter Frucht. Die Tannine sind reif, aber dennoch straff und wunderbar eingebunden. Das anfangs überschwängliche und energische Mundgefühl geht über in einen weichen Abgang mit Noten von süßen Gewürzen.Probieren Sie den Stellenzicht Thunderstone Red zu einem T-Bone Steak, einer Rinderroulade oder mittlerem Käse. The Usseglio Raymond & Fils winery works organically and biodynamically and attaches great importance to preserving the soil and promoting biodiversity.The grapes come from vines around 50 years old on the four classic terroirs of the appellation: sand, sandstone/clay, limestone and the characteristic round pebbles. The grapes are harvested manually at optimum ripeness and are carefully hand-picked.The cuvée consists of Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Counoise. 80% of the wine is matured in traditional concrete tanks, 20% in old oak barrels, which gives it a fine structure and elegance.Intense aromas of cherries, raspberries, black pepper and licorice unfold on the nose, accompanied by subtle garrigue notes. The Crozes-Hermitage appellation is located in the northern part of the Rhone valley. All red wines produced in this appellation are based on the Shiraz grape variety, the only red variety authorised here.The Vidal-Fleury Crozes-Hermitage is a dark red in colour. Its bouquet is redolent of black currants, violets and plums, complemented by notes of pepper and roast aromas. The soil of the vineyards in the Crozes-Hermitage area consists mainly of granite, giving the wine its lovely minerality. This red wine is soft and fresh on the palate, showing lots of black fruit. The finish is round and long-lasting. The 18 months of ageing in wooden casks and in the bottle gives the wine its high ageing potential, so that it will remain a delight over the next 10 years.The Crozes-Hermitage from the Vidal-Fleury winery goes beautifully with grilled dishes, game and pork cutlets with herbes de Provence.
