The "Cuvée des Cadettes" from Château La Nerthe is also a world-class French red wine in the 2016 vintage. 93+ points in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and even 97+ points from US wine critic Jeb Dunnuck speak for themselves. The blend of 52% Grenache Noir, 38% Syrah and 10% Mourve`dre offers wine enjoyment that easily satisfies the highest demands.

The bouquet of the Cuvée des Cadettes 2016 has a captivating aroma of black cherry, blackcurrant and sweet spices. Ripe blackberries and pepper also enrich the bouquet. Joe Czerwinski judges in the Wine Advocate that the blend has notes of cedar and roasted aromas, as well as vanilla and baking spices. With more air, "some cola and dark berry notes emerge".

On the palate, the red wine from the legendary Châteauneuf-du-Pape region is dry, fresh and balanced, with a great depth of aroma (blackberries and graphite). The tannins are perfectly ripe and masterfully integrated. The deep ruby red wine has exceptional length. "It seems that the wine has the necessary weight and richness to carry the 28% new barriques used for its ageing," says Czerwinski.

He also recommends: "Give it a few more years and drink it over the next two decades." The "Cuvée des Cadettes" from Château La Nerthe is guaranteed to be a delight until 2040. The red wine matured for 12 months in oak. Wine lovers can only purchase this top cuvée a few years after it has been bottled.

The Château La Nerthe estate is one of the most venerable wineries of the renowned Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation and with its 222 acres of vineyards one of the largest estates in this region. The estate’s history dates back to the 14th century. From the beginning, the Château La Nerthe Châteauneuf-du-Pape has been synonymous with outstanding wines from the Côtes du Rhône region.This also applies to the excellent 2020 vintage. The fully ripe grapes were harvested by hand so that they could preserve their balance and full aromas. The pressing occurred carefully and under constant control. The fermentation was also meticulously carried out at low temperatures in order to maintain the aromas.The Roussanne grapes were aged in oak casks, of which one third were new barrels. The La Nerthe 2020 is a cuvée consisting of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Bourboulenc, and was produced on a purely organic basis. The wine matured for 9 months, remaining in contact with the yeast. It was blended only a short time before bottling.The Château La Nerthe Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 is a pale lemon in colour. On the nose, it offers aromas of stone fruit (peach, apricot) and white flowers. It is wonderfully complex on the palate, showing notes of citrus fruit (lime) and exotic fruit (pineapple, mango), with a good balance between acidity and richness. The wine is elegant, with an expressive finish that offers long-lasting, spicy and mineral notes.The Château La Nerthe Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 is a wonderful and harmonious accompaniment to fish with butter sauce, seafood and poultry.

This classic Côtes du Rhône comes from one of the oldest vineyards in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation (AOC), which was founded in 1936. Château La Nerthe dates back to the 14th century and, with over 90 hectares, has one of the largest vineyards in the region.Tradition and great attention to detail are very important here. The grapes are harvested by hand and then sorted on the table. Fermentation takes place in vats for 18 to 21 days, with regular pumping over and plunging of the cap, and daily tasting of the must to check that exactly the right degree of extraction is achieved. After undergoing malolactic fermentation in oak barrels, Château La Nerthe Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2021 is matured in barrel for 12 months.The wine rewards this with a deep red color. On the nose, the aroma of blackcurrants, black tea and dried flowers. The palate is full, fruity and with plenty of fat and body. Overall, this dry red wine has a very pure and intense character.We recommend this great French red wine with lamb, beef or duck.

This Côtes du Rhône Villages AOP is an extraordinary wine. The team of the La Nerthe winery, which has been based in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region since the 14th century, maintains the Les Cassagnes vineyards located in Sérignan-du-Comtat, France. The grapes for this wine are selected exclusively from the best parcels of land. The soil consists of sand, clay and limestone, providing natural filtration and creating full-bodied, well-balanced wines.The grapes come from vines with an average age of more than 40 years. This cuvée consists mainly of Grenache Noir, Shiraz and a smaller percentage of Mourvèdre.The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a further selection process upon arrival in the cellar. Subsequently, the grape varieties are fermented separately for a period of three weeks. The extraction is carried out very carefully in order to maintain the fruit aromas and to preserve a good tannin structure. Before bottling, the wine finally matures for 9 months in stainless steel tanks, remaining in contact with the yeast.The Les Cassagnes AOP Côtes du Rhône Villages Rouge is a deep, dark red in colour. On the palate, it impresses wine connoisseurs with an appealing body that’s not overly full, showing a very silky texture. Aromas of red berries, wonderful notes recalling perfume and sweet nuances of spices lead to an exquisite, prolonged finish.Served at a drinking temperature of 14-16°C (57.2-60.8 °F), the Les Cassagnes goes beautifully with grilled lamb or beef, pasta Bolognese or ratatouille. We recommend enjoying this wine with ‘Tian’, a vegetable gratin speciality from the Provence region, made of tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, thyme and oregano. Simply delicious!

The Clos Saint Jean Deus ex machina 2022 is an iconic wine from the renowned Clos Saint Jean winery in the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The term "Deus ex machina", which means "God from the machine", symbolizes a turn for the better, the solution to a problem or simply the change in a situation due to something unforeseen. In this case, it was the arrival of oenologist Phillipe Cambie in 2003, who radically transformed the style of Clos Saint Jean into an even higher quality, more individual character and knew how to get the best out of the already brilliant terroir.The Deus ex machina comes from the La Crau vineyard in the north of the château, which is planted with Grenache vines over 100 years old. Accordingly, the cuvée consists of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvedre. The wine is matured in stainless steel barrels and then aged in new oak.The Clos Saint Jean Châteauneuf-du-Pape Deus ex machina 2022 pleases the eye with a dark violet color. The nose smells of black cherries, truffles, new leather, violets and lots of herbs, smoke, with traces of cedar and some vanilla due to the use of new wood during the post-maturing process. The palate is highly intense, concentrated, yet very creamy and velvety, in an overall very opulent, yet fresh style. This is mirrored by the extremely long finish.A racy Châteauneuf-du-Pape with high expectations, which it more than fulfills. The Maremma is a characterful landscape in central Italy, which is also known for its excellent wines. Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore from Tenuta Argentiera has a bright ruby red color with violet hues. On the palate, notes of licorice and black currants. This generous, complex wine - consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc - is rich in tannins. It has a wonderful balance with a pleasant acidity. The finish is long lasting - with a remarkable freshness and minerality.The harvested grapes come from the best vineyards of the estate. The grapes were vinified separately; fermentation and maceration took about 25 to 30 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine was then transferred to 225-liter French oak barriques, where its malolactic fermentation was completetd. The further maturation was about 14 months in oak barrels and then at least another 12 months on the bottle.Tenuta Argentiera is located on the picturesque coast of the Northern Maremma, about 100 km southwest of Florence.
