The red grape variety Tibouren is grown almost exclusively in the Var department in the French region of Provence. On the nose, it is wonderfully fresh and complex, recalling raspberries, red cherries, currants, strawberries and pink grapefruit, complemented by notes of rose water and fresh herbes de Provence. Der Onix Fusio Priorat DOQ ist ein ausdrucksstarker Rotwein aus der prestigeträchtigen Weinregion Priorat in Katalonien, Spanien. Der Cano Tempranillo Garnacha bereitet als „every day“ Wein viel Freude. Im Glas leuchtet der Wein dunkelrot mit violetten Schattierungen. Er schmeckt nach Maulbeere, Himbeere und Kirsche. Am Gaumen ist der Wein vom Weingut Pagos del Rey wunderbar fruchtig und voll. Im Abgang lang und mit Noten von Waldbeeren.Auch als Essensbegleiter macht der trockene Rotwein eine gute Figur. The Parallèle 45 Rouge, from vineyards in the southern Rhône valley at 45 degrees latitude, comes from 25-year-old vines. A wonderfully fruity wine matured in stainless steel tanks, it is a fine accompaniment to grilled meat and cheese variations.

Paul Mas Grenache Noir Syrah IGP 2024

Der Paul Mas Grenache Noir Syrah IGP ist ein wunderbarer Landwein aus dem Languedoc. In diesem bekannten Weinbaugebiet werden mehr als ein Drittel der französischen Trauben produziert. Die Rebflächen liegen meistens in Küstennähe, wo das Klima im Sommer trocken und heiß ist.Dieser französische Rotwein wird aus Grenache Noir und Syrah Trauben hergestellt. Nach Entrappung der Früchte findet die Gärung bei 26°C statt. Das Traubengemisch wird dabei häufig umgepumpt. Anschließend wird der Wein zu 25% in amerikanischer Eiche und teilweise in französischer Eiche ausgebaut. 75% reifen in Edelstahltanks. Später werden die Rebsäfte miteinander vermengt.Die Cuvée ist komplex mit Aromen von Kirsche, Veilchen und Gewürzen mit einem Hauch von Lakritz.

Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Rosé 2024

The Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah grape varieties characterize this Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Rosé. The grapes grow on the hills of the Herault Valley on clayey, chalky soils and are vinified individually for this cuvée, with the fermentation process lasting two weeks at 17 degrees Celsius. The wine from Domaines Paul Mas then matured on the lees for 40 days. New coated cement tanks were used. The fruit concentration was maintained by regular pumping over.The Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Rosé is characterized by a very clear, light pink color. The nose has aromas of red berries, cherries and tropical fruits. Penfolds Father Grand Tawny 10 Years

With regard to the production process and the type of wine, the Penfolds Father Grand Tawny is similar to a port wine, though it is not allowed to bear the protected term ‘port’. However, this does not diminish the wine’s quality and characteristics - on the contrary, Penfolds, Australia’s most famous winery, has produced a genuine delight. The different base wines are at least 10 years old. Wines of an average of 15 different vintages unite to create the Penfolds Father Grand Tawny, thus ensuring that the nuances of each vintage produce a concentrated Tawny. The base wine is traditionally enriched with specially distilled alcohol containing between 78 and 85 of alcohol by volume, simultaneously increasing both the Tawny’s alcohol content and its complexity. In the glass, the Father Grand Tawny is a light brown of medium intensity with hints of yellow and green at the rim. On the nose, it offers wonderful notes of oak, chocolate, plums and roasted nuts, complemented by nuances of cloves and anise. On the palate, the Tawny shows its full power and elegance, offering sweet notes of fruitcake and concentrated wood aromas. Its finish is wonderfully balanced, fresh and long-lasting.The Penfolds Father Grand Tawny 10 Years is lovely on its own as an aperitif and goes beautifully with sweet desserts.
