The Bodegas Mas Alta Cirerets is an assemblage of Grenache and Carignan. 95 points in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate speak for themselves: the red wine from Priorat, the growing region in the north-west of Spain characterized by slate soils, is an outstanding creation. "I just love the elegance and harmony of the Cirerets", writes wine critic Luis Gutiérrez in the Wine Advocate.

The Spanish red wine has a wonderfully intense fruity aroma of cherries and blueberries. There are also notes of Mediterranean herbs (rosemary, thyme) and a distinctive mineral component. The palate is "powerful, but at the same time elegant and harmonious, with a soft texture, smooth tannins and very pure and penetrating aromas. Really delicious and hedonistic," says Gutiérrez. The density of aromas is impressive: aromas of dark fruits (blackcurrants) combined with a beautiful spiciness (juniper).

The Bodegas Mas Alta Cirerets matured for 16 months in French barriques. This special creation from Bodegas Mas Alta is a composition in which the Grenache grapes come from vines planted in 1962.

The Vina Tondonia Reserva from the legendary López de Heredia family winery is a flagship of classic Rioja tradition.
