The Gris Blanc IGP Pays d'Oc from Gérard Bertrand is an exceptionally elegant rosé wine from the south of France.
With its unmistakable light color, it has established itself as a modern classic among rosés from the Languedoc. The Gérard Bertrand winery is one of the leading producers in the south of France and stands for high-quality wines that authentically reflect the Mediterranean terroir. The Grenache grape variety comes from the sun-drenched vineyards around Tautavel between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees and gives this rosé its fresh and elegant character.
In the glass, the Gris Blanc is a very light shade of rosé with silvery reflections. The bouquet is characterized by aromas of red berries. On the palate, the wine is lively and light, with fine fruit, fresh minerality and a harmonious, elegant finish.
The hand-picked Grenache grapes are pressed directly and fermented at controlled temperatures. The subsequent maturation on the fine lees gives the wine additional finesse and balance.
Serve the Gérard Bertrand Gris Blanc at 10 to 12 °C as an aperitif or with Mediterranean salads, fish dishes, seafood, Asian cuisine and spicy dishes such as Thai curry or tajines.
