Priorat is Catalonia's oldest wine-growing region. It is located in the steep hills of the Serra de Montsant and offers suitable Licorella slate soil. Hammeken Cellars' wines combine the best of Spain's local grapes and traditions with "New World" winemaking style and techniques. The result is a distinctive collection of wines: modern, fruity, fresh and easy to understand, like the Hammeken Tosalet Priorat DOC. It is remarkable that the vines are up to 50 years old.The dry red wine has a clear, deep purple color. The Holden Manz Rosé is a light, crisp wine in the distinctive Provence rosé style, made of the typical Grenache, Shiraz and Cinsault grape varieties, amongst others. Its colour recalls light onion skin. On the nose, the wine offers notes of lychees, strawberries and various tropical fruit, along with aromas of rose petals, orange peel and grapefruit. The Holden Manz Rosé is wonderfully fruity and refreshingly dry on the palate, offering aromas of raspberries, pineapple and lavender.
