Der Priorat ist Kataloniens älteste weinbaubetreibende Region. Es liegt in den steilen Hügeln der Serra de Montsant mit geeignetem Licorella-Schieferboden. Die Weine von Hammeken Cellars vereinen das Beste der lokalen Trauben und Traditionen Spaniens mit dem Weinbereitungsstil und den Techniken der "Neuen Welt". Das Ergebnis ist eine unverwechselbare Kollektion von Weinen: modern, fruchtig, frisch und leicht verständlich, sowie der Hammeken Cellars Tosalet Priorat DOC. Bemerkenswert ist, dass die Reben bis zu 50 Jahre alt sind.

Der trockene Rotwein zeigt sich in einer klaren,tiefdunkelvioletten Farbe. Die Nase umspielen reine und sehr intensive Aromen, die an rote Beerenfrüchte wie Preiselbeeren, rote Kirschen und Himbeeren erinnern, kombiniert mit mineralischen Noten von Feuerstein und einem Hauch von Eukalyptus. Am Gaumen ist der Wein trocken, vollmundig, mit reicher, konzentrierter, saftiger Frucht, festen, aber reifen Tanninen und einer erfrischenden Säure, die ihn zu einem großartigen Essenswein machen.

The El Coto Crianza is an authentic representative of the Rioja tradition, a dry red wine with an intense ruby red color from the famous Tempranillo grape.The perfect combination of red berries and the fine vanilla nuances from the barrique ageing.Soft tannins and excellent structure. Long finish, accompanied by fresh fruit. Not too complex, very harmonious and soft.The grapes for El Coto Crianza DOC come from the chalky soils of Rioja Alavesa. After pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured for between 12 and 14 months in new 225-liter American barrique barrels before being bottled and aged in the bottle for at least another 6 months.It is an ideal accompaniment to tapas, lamb, grilled meat or spicy vegetable dishes.

Ein Rotwein aus dem Priorat, der die internationale Weinkritik schon lange in seinen Bann gezogen hat.Dieser Jahrgang ist eine Assemblage aus 80 Prozent Grenache Noir sowie 10 Prozent Carignan und 10 Prozent Cabernet Sauvignon. Das Bouquet dieses spanischen Rotweins duftet herrlich anregend fruchtig, mit Noten von Kirschen, Himbeeren und Brombeeren. Hinzu kommen süßliche Nuancen, die den Duftstrauß abrunden, etwa von Kakao, Granatapfel und Backpflaume.16 Monate reifte dieser Blend aus dem Nordwesten Spaniens im Eichenfass. With regard to the production process and the type of wine, the Penfolds Father Grand Tawny is similar to a port wine, though it is not allowed to bear the protected term ‘port’. However, this does not diminish the wine’s quality and characteristics - on the contrary, Penfolds, Australia’s most famous winery, has produced a genuine delight. The different base wines are at least 10 years old. Wines of an average of 15 different vintages unite to create the Penfolds Father Grand Tawny, thus ensuring that the nuances of each vintage produce a concentrated Tawny. The base wine is traditionally enriched with specially distilled alcohol containing between 78 and 85 of alcohol by volume, simultaneously increasing both the Tawny’s alcohol content and its complexity. In the glass, the Father Grand Tawny is a light brown of medium intensity with hints of yellow and green at the rim. On the nose, it offers wonderful notes of oak, chocolate, plums and roasted nuts, complemented by nuances of cloves and anise. On the palate, the Tawny shows its full power and elegance, offering sweet notes of fruitcake and concentrated wood aromas. Its finish is wonderfully balanced, fresh and long-lasting.The Penfolds Father Grand Tawny 10 Years is lovely on its own as an aperitif and goes beautifully with sweet desserts.
