Der Care Finca Bancales Single Vineyard DO ist ein hochwertiger spanischer Wein, der aus Trauben einer einzigen Lage namens Finca Bancales vinifiziert wird. Die Rebstöcke sind über 80 Jahre alt und ergeben daher nur niedrige Erträge. Die Lese der Grenache-Trauben erfolgt behutsam von Hand.

In der Nase werden Aromen von reiner Brombeerfrucht von Aromen von Mokka und Gewürzen begleitet. Am Gaumen zeigen sich süße Fruchtcharaktere, dominiert von Brombeere und Pflaume, ergänzt durch Zimt, Nelke und Muskatnuss. Der elegante trockene Rotwein ist vollmundig mit seidigen Tanninen und einem langanhaltenden Finale. Der 12-monatige Ausbau in französischen Eichenfässern verleiht dem Wein Textur und Komplexität.

In this blend, the Casa Ermelinda Freitas winery has married 75% Castelão (typical Portuguese red grape variety, also known as Periquita), 10% each of Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira (two other indigenous red wine varieties from Portugal) and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from vineyards that are on average 50 years old. Flor de la Mar Tinto Reserva is therefore a Portuguese red wine that wonderfully conveys the many advantages of the terroir in the Península de Setúbal wine region in the Lisbon area.The garnet red wine combines notes of ripe red and black fruits (blueberries, blackberries, currants), a fine spiciness and vanilla oak tones in its bouquet. On the palate, Flor de la Mar Tinto Reserva is dry, dense and full-bodied, with a good structure. The tannins are noticeable, but pleasantly soft and skillfully integrated.
