Notes of black cherry and plum compote characterize this red wine which is a blend of Corvinone, Corvina and Cabernet Sauvignon. Corvinone and Corvina are typical grape varieties of the Veneto region. The winery Mabis is known for its ability to transport the full potential of these varieties in its red wines.On the palate the Neropasso Rosso is elegant, harmonious, full and silky, with sweet tannins in the finale. Part of the grapes for this wine was dried before being pressed. This particular Appassimento method is characteristic of the Veneto region. The Tenuta Sant Antonio winery is located northeast of Verona and surrounded by its own vineyards. With the wines of the Scaia line, the Castagnedi brothers fulfilled their dream of creating wines that better meet the requirements of young winemakers.The Tenuta Sant Antonio Scaia Paradiso is a cuvée consisting of the Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are dried for 20 days before they are pressed. After the gentle pressing of all the grapes, the wine is aged for 20 days with selected biological yeasts in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks. Afterwards, the wine matures for one year in 500-litre French oak casks.The bouquet of this ruby-red wine recalls Maraska cherries, wild berries and candied fruit. The bouquet is complemented by spicy notes of black pepper, liquorice, cocoa and tobacco. On the palate, the Scaia Paradiso is a genuine charmer - soft, warm, velvety.The fruity, spicy red wine is a perfect accompaniment to pasta dishes with truffles, meat ragout, grilled red meat and ripe cheeses.

Der Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG ist eine Cuvée aus vier Valpolicella-Rebsorten. So ist er aus Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Corvinone und Molinara gekeltert. Für diesen Amarone verwendet das Weingut Tommasi Viticoltori ausschließlich die am besten ausgereiften Cluster und lässt die Trauben über den Winter in offenen Regalen trocknen. Danach reift der Wein drei Jahre in Eichenfässern und ein Jahr in der Flasche.Dadurch leuchtet dieser Wein im Glas in einem tiefen Rubinrot und hat ein intensives Bouquet sowie einen vollmundigen Geschmack. Er duftet nach Schwarzbeeren, Kaffee, Tabak und einem Hauch Vanille und Bitterschokolade. Am Gaumen entfalten sich weitere fruchtige Noten von Kirsche und Pflaume mit harmonisch eingebundenen Tanninen und einem anhaltenden Nachklang.Dieser komplexe und raffinierte Rotwein aus dem Veneto passt bei 18 bis 20 °C Trinktemperatur hervorragend zu würzigen Speisen. The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance).This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. Unfortunately, one can find many Valpolicella wines of poor quality on the market but fortunately, we don’t have to worry about this as far as Zenato wines are concerned, as Zenato produces only high-quality wines.
