The Beyerskloof Synergy is the epitome of Cape wines. As one of the first of this type in South Africa, it unites the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon, the fruitiness of Pinotage and the softness of Merlot. A small percentage of Shiraz, Cinsault and Pinot Noir gives the Beyerskloof Synergy its spice and minerality. It matured for 14 months in first- (10%), second- and third-fill French oak casks.The Beyerskloof Synergy Cape Blend is a deep red in the glass, with a slightly shimmering ruby-red rim. Its bouquet offers extremely intense notes of black fruit. On the palate, the wine is juicy, soft and full-bodied, recalling sweet aromas of cedar, cherries and lots of black fruit. The beautifully integrated tannins wonderfully support the Synergy Cape blend’s balance and complexity. Binigrau Obac 2023

Der Binigrau Obac stammt von der spanischen Insel Mallorca und verkörpert die Essenz der mediterranen Insel und das Engagement des Weinguts Binigrau für höchste Qualität. Im Glas präsentiert sich der Binigrau Obac in einem tiefen Rubinrot mit eleganten Granatfarbtönen. Die Nase verströmt einen verlockenden Duft von dunklen Beeren und einem Hauch von mediterranen Kräutern und Gewürzen. Die sorgfältig ausgewählten Trauben, darunter lokale Sorten wie Mantonegro und Callet werden mit größter Sorgfalt vinifiziert und reifen anschließend für 14 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern. Am Gaumen begeistert der Binigrau Obac mit einer beeindruckenden Fülle und Tiefe. Es stechen die Geschmacksnoten von Gewürzen und Trockenfrüchten hervor, Fenchel und Lakritze sind gut wahrnehmbar. Ergänzt um reifen Fruchtgeschmack endet dieser Rotwein in einem harmonischen Abgang mit feinen Vanillenoten. Der Binigrau Obac kann sowohl solo als auch als Essensbegleiter fungieren. Das Weingut Blaauwklippen, 5 Kilometer südlich vom Zentrum Stellenboschs gelegen, hat die Rebsorten Cabernet Sauvignon (größter Anteil), Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec und Petit Verdot zu einem herausragenden Rotwein komponiert. 91 Punkte (4,5 von 5 Sternen) von Greg de Bruyn in John Platter’s Wine Guide sprechen eine deutliche Sprache. Der Jahrgang 2018 von De Blaauwe Klip beeindrucke „mit intensiver violetter Tönung, konzentrierten schwarzen Früchten und reifen Tanninen“, urteilt de Bruyn.Der Reihe nach: Das Bouquet des Rotweins vom Kap duftet verführerisch nach dunklem Cassis, Zigarrenkiste und Zedernholz. Das Bouquet dieses spanischen Rotweins duftet herrlich anregend fruchtig, mit Noten von Kirschen, Himbeeren und Brombeeren. This red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon and a small proportion of Cabernet Franc comes from organically farmed vineyards in Franschhoek. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand, rigorously selected and then fermented spontaneously in egg-shaped concrete tanks. The wine is matured in 95% new French oak barrels - a vinification process that gives the wine its elegant texture, velvety tannins and characteristic roasted aromas.In the glass, the wine is a deep purple red. From the very first whiff, it reveals a complex bouquet of dark berries, eucalyptus, graphite and herbs such as lavender and thyme.
