Noten von Maulbeeren und Cassis prägen das Bouquet des Blaauwklippen Cabernet Sauvignon 2021. Dieser Rotwein aus Südafrika ist ein anregend komplexes Vergnügen für Nase und Gaumen. Harmonische Noten von Cranberry, dunkler Schokolade und Zedernholz sowie eine feine Mineralität runden den Duftstrauß ab. 

Am Gaumen ist diese Kreation des traditionsreichen Weingutes, das seinen Sitz etwa 5 Kilometer südlich vom Zentrum Stellenboschs hat, trocken und vollmundig. Die samtigen Tannine sind gekonnt integriert. Mit großartiger Textur und schöner Aromentiefe (Holznoten, schwarze Früchte). Das Finale dieses Rotweines ist perfekt ausgewogen.

17 Monate reifte der Blaauwklippen Cabernet Sauvignon in Fässern aus französischem Eichenholz (300 Liter). Für den Ausbau dieses Cabernet Sauvignons vom Kap entschieden sich die Winemaker von Blaauwklippen für den Einsatz von 40% neuem Holz.

The De Blaauwe Klip 2020 is a South African Bordeaux-style blend. The Blaauwklippen winery, located 5 kilometers south of Stellenbosch city center, has combined the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (largest proportion), Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot to create an outstanding red wine.The bouquet of this red wine from the Cape has a seductive aroma of dark cassis, cigar box and cedar wood. These notes harmonize perfectly with nuances of plums and chocolate.De Blaauwe Klip is dry on the palate, with a full body and great energy.
