In the year 1954 my father, Miguel Torres, was already seeking out the most prized red grapes of the region, Garnacha and Cariñena, to create a different wine that would express the authentic character of the land. This led to the birth of "Sangre de Toro", whose name is inspired by Baccus, Roman god of wine, known in ancient times as "Son of the Bull".Deep ruby colour with a hint of ochre. Rich complex Mediterranean aromas with exuberant notes of spices and blackberries. Velvety tannins are noted on the palate with elegant flavours of licorice and small dark forest fruits.Perfect with stews, game, meat paellas and traditional mountain cuisine.

Der Statti I Gelsi Bianco IGT Calabria gefällt mit seiner würzigen Frische am Gaumen. Er ist somit ein ausgezeichneter Tropfen für Liebhaber frischer Weißweine.Äußerlich zeigt sich der italienische Weißwein aus Kalabrien von strahlend gelber Farbe mit grünlichen Reflexen. In der Nase fallen angenehme Aromen von Kräutern und Passionsfrucht auf. Am Gaumen frisch und würzig, ist die Cuvée aus 70% Chardonnay und 30% Greco den Brüdern Antonio und Alberto Statti ausgezeichnet gelungen. Seit Mitte der 90er Jahre treiben sie die Qualität ihrer Weine immer weiter voran und haben ihr Weingut modernisiert. Die Familie Statti ist bereits seit dem 17. Jahrhundert mit der Weinbautradition verbunden, längst sind ihre Weingüter über Kalabrien hinaus berühmt.Die Trinktemperatur für den Statti I Gelsi Bianco IGT Calabria beträgt 8-10 °C.
