Der aus einer Einzellage stammende Pedro Escudero Verdejo Rueda The Maker stellt das Flagschiff des Weingutes dar. Dieser Verdejo entsteht an über 50 Jahre alten Reben. Das Besondere hierbei, der Wein bleibt für drei Monate nach der Gärung auf der Feinhefe und reift danach für weitere 3-4 Monate auf der Flasche. Das ergibt einen voluminösen Körper und ein exotisches Aroma. Der blasgelbe Pedro Escudero The Maker duftet intensiv nach Ananas, Pfirsich, Orangenschale und Jasmin. Am Gaumen knackig mit guter Mineralik und weicher Säure. Ein eleganter, zarter Verdejo mit großer Ausdruckskraft.

Pedro Escudero Valdelagunde Cuvée Especial Verdejo DO is an intense, rich wine, in which the flavours of stone fruit (peach, apricot) predominate. Spicy notes appear, lightly, with a touch of vanilla from the oak barrels, accompanying the characteristic, bitter almond aftertaste of a Verdejo wine.This wine has been made exclusively from Verdejo grapes harvested from vineyards of the Bodegas Pedro Escudero, rooted in the rocky lands of the Fuente Elvira vineyard in the village La Seca. Part of the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats, part is a maceration most, other part has paralysed the fermentation and the last part in French and American oak casks.

This chenin blanc is made from young vines of five years old, which are perfect for a delicious and refreshing dry wine, with lots of fruit. Only when the stakes get older, the wines get more concentration. By keeping the proceeds low, the wine gets a really nice solid and mineral character. Like the other wines in this series he gets after a fermentation process at low temperature aged for a few months on the yeast cells, which makes it nicely rich and firm of character. A delicious, smooth and crisp Chenin Blanc is the result.

Für die Herstellung des Valdelagunde Semidulce verwendete Paolo Escudero vom Weingut Bodegas Pedro Escudero Viura- und Verdejo-Trauben. Da die Viura-Trauben zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt reif sind, wurden die Trauben zu unterschiedlichen Terminen geerntet.Die Verdejo-Trauben, die später geerntet wurden, wurden erst in der letzten Phase des Gärungsprozesses mit einbezogen. So entstand ein einzigartiger spritziger Weißwein mit einer natürlichen Süße, geringer Säure und wenig Alkohol. Die wunderbare Cuvée verführt mit sommerlichen Aromen von Melone, Ananas und frischen Äpfeln.
