The successful wine The Guv’nor, produced by Felix Solis, is now also available as a white wine. Three grape varieties from the Castilla La Mancha region unite to create this wonderful cuvée. The Guv’nor Blanco offers impressive, sumptuous aromas of tropical fruit and fresh citrus notes. On the palate, this Spanish white wine is rich and charming. The percentage of Chardonnay used matured for 3 months in French oak casks, giving the Guv’nor Blanco expressiveness and stability. Its finish is soft and long-lasting.Try the Guv’nor Blanco with pasta, paella, grilled fish, smoked ham and tangy cheeses. It is also lovely to enjoy on its own as an aperitif.

Felix Solis SL ist ein familiengeführtes Unternehmen und hat sich auf die Herstellung von Qualitätsweinen spezialisiert. Das Unternehmen besitzt zwei Weingüter im Zentrum von Spanien: Valdepenas und La Mancha.

Das Weingut in Valdepenas wurde 1975 mit einigen der besten und modernsten Produktions- und Abfülltechnologie der Welt eröffnet. Das Familienunternehmen ist in Sachen Traubenannahme eines der größten seiner Art mit einer täglichen Erntekapazität von 7,5 Millionen Kilo und einer Winzeranlage für 175 Millionen Kilo Trauben. Für die Zwecke der traditionellen Weinherstellung hat das Weingut eine große Höhle belegt, die für die Herstellung von Crianzas, Reservas und Gran Reservas hervorragende Bedingungen bietet. Hier werden die Weine in amerikanischen Eichenfässern gelagert.

Das Felix Solis Weingut in La Puebla de Almoradiel liegt in La Mancha und besitzt eine große Tradition im Weinbau und der Weinherstellung. Die modernen Einrichtungen sind perfekt für die Herstellung von jungen Weinen aus sowohl einheimischen als auch internationalen Rebsorten geeignet.

Frei übersetzt bedeutet Terra Linda "aus schönem Boden". Die Reben für den Terra Linda Viura - Chardonnay gedeihen in der Region Castilla-La Mancha auf stark kalkhaltigen Böden . La Mancha ist das größte zusammenhängende Weinbaugebiet der Erde. Das typisch kontinentale Klima der Region lässt die Trauben optimal reifen. Dieser Crianza vom jungen Weingut Pago de la Jaraba duftet nach frischen Beeren, Eukalyptus und einer feinen Würze. Hinzu kommen die angenehmen Holztöne. Am Gaumen ist dieser Tempranillo weich und elegant. Der rubinrote Wein aus der La Mancha-Region ist ein Blend aus weit überwiegend Tempranillo und kleineren Anteilen Cabernet Sauvignon und Merlot. 10 Monate wurde er in französischer und amerikanischer Eiche ausgebaut, wobei hauptsächlich amerikanische Eiche zum Einsatz kam.

The Guv’nor Rosado has now completed the Guv’nor line from the Félix Solís estate in Spain with a rosé. The red and white wines, with their concentrated yet flavourful style, are already extremely successful, and this impressive rosé, consisting mainly of Garnacha and smaller percentages of Tempranillo and Bobal, follows this approach as well.The wine shimmers a delicate strawberry pink in the glass, offering notes of raspberries, nectarines and strawberries in its bouquet. On the palate, the Guv’nor Rosado is fruity and mature. The balance between its light acidity and the fruity sweetness is invigorating, fresh and delicate. The finish is accompanied by a fine creaminess.This Rosado is a perfect medium-dry rosé wine to enjoy on a summer evening.
