Spier Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) Pinot Noir Rosé Brut

The Spier Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) Brut Rosé made from 100% Pinot Noir from the Western Cape, South Africa, is produced using the traditional French method. The grapes come from carefully selected plots in Stellenbosch and Robertson and are harvested in the cool morning hours to ensure freshness and perfect ripeness.

In the glass, the sparkling wine is a bright salmon pink with a fine mousse. It delights with aromas of ripe strawberries, cranberries and rose petals, accompanied by fresh acidity, minerality and an elegant body. The second fermentation in the bottle and 14 months of maturation on the lees give it finesse and complexity.

The Spier Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) Brut Rosé is an excellent accompaniment to light seafood, smoked salmon, Asian dishes or berry desserts at a drinking temperature of 6-8 °C.

Spier Wines

Niel Joubert kaufte Spier 1965.
