The Cuvée Clive is the flagship wine of the Graham Beck winery located in Robertson, South Africa. This outstanding sparkling wine is vinified only in vintages that produce grapes of particularly high quality. The wine-making expertise, deep passion and special commitment of the responsible cellar masters at Graham Beck unite here to create this sparkling wine. Not only do the exceptionally fine effervescence and the brilliant golden colour testify to the highest quality- the Graham Beck Cuvée Clive is distinguished by its elegance, sophistication and complexity. This sparkling wine, made using the traditional French method known as ‘methode champenoise’, and called ‘methode cap classique’ in South Africa, bears witness to the reputation of the world-class winemaker Graham Beck. The grapes come from vines that grow on pure limestone soils in direct proximity to the estate and in a vineyard located in Darling, giving this cuvée its racy acidity. On the nose, the Cuvée Clive offers balanced, powerful and ripe citrus aromas, along with fragrances of apricots, apples and roasted almonds. The spicy, fresh notes of citrus fruit are immediately noticeable on the palate, enriched by nuances of yellow stone fruit and nut aromas. The complex texture makes the Graham Beck Cuvée Clive a memorable taste experience.

Graham Beck Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) Brut

An all round crowd pleaser and extremely versatile bubbly crafted from a selection of the classic MCC varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.Both varietals were hand-picked: Chardonnay at 18-19.5°B for fruit and elegance and Pinot Noir at 18.5-20°B for complexity and length of flavour. In the cellar whole bunch pressing ensures fractional recovery. After settling of the juice the two varieties are fermented separately. They are then cross-blended along with reserve wine if necessary, bottled and left for 15 to 18 months yeast contact time before disgorgement. Light yeasty aromas and secondary tones of limey fresh fruit on the nose with rich creamy complexity on the palate. The exceptionally fine mousse contributes freshness and finesse.
