The De Blaauwe Klip 2020 is a South African Bordeaux-style blend. The Blaauwklippen winery, located 5 kilometers south of Stellenbosch city center, has combined the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (largest proportion), Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot to create an outstanding red wine.The bouquet of this red wine from the Cape has a seductive aroma of dark cassis, cigar box and cedar wood. These notes harmonize perfectly with nuances of plums and chocolate.De Blaauwe Klip is dry on the palate, with a full body and great energy. The tannins are wonderfully supple, with impressive aromas of new leather and fine roasted aromas. The finish of this Bordeaux blend lingers for an exceptionally long time.
