The fruity bouquet of this Cabernet Sauvignon from South Tyrol has an intense aroma of red berries, wonderfully underpinned by a fine spiciness. On the palate, the Cantina Tramin Cabernet Sauvignon is dry and full, with an impressive variety of aromas.Wine lovers can look forward to a delicious interplay of blackcurrant, dried fruit and chocolate aromas in this Italian red wine. But that's not all: hints of green bell pepper and cedar wood also enrich the aroma spectrum.The grapes for this red wine come from warm, calcareous and gravelly clay soils on hills at 250 to 350 meters above sea level. The Cantina Tramin Cabernet Sauvignon matures in large wooden barrels. We recommend enjoying this red wine from one of the most traditional winery cooperatives in South Tyrol at a drinking temperature of 18 to 20 degrees. Cantina Tramin Chardonnay 2024

The grapes come from vineyards planted in calcareous clay and gravel soils between 240 and 500 meters in the areas Ora, Tramin and Egna.The grapes were gently pressed immediately following harvest. Primary fermentation occurred in steel tanks, followed by partial malolactic fermentation.Tasting NotesChardonnay is popular and much-loved variety. Our Chardonnay is greenish yellow in color, with delicate fruity aromas and a dry finish. Cantina Tramin Gewürztraminer is produced in one of the most traditional cooperatives in South Tyrol from grapes grown in the region. The calcareous and fertile soils in the municipalities of Montan and Tramin support the excellent ripening of these grapes.With its exceptionally strong aroma, the full-bodied Cantina Tramin Gewürztraminer pampers the nose and palate of the connoisseur. This Gewürztraminer is a straw to golden yellow white wine with a strong aroma of fragrant rose petals, cloves and cinnamon. This full-bodied wine from South Tyrol is ideally served at a drinking temperature of 10-12 °C.It is an excellent accompaniment to various starters with fish and pâtés, Asian cuisine and hard cheeses. Cantina Tramin Glarea Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC 2024

The Glarea, a 100% Chardonnay, was vinified by Cantina Tramin for the first time in the 2020 vintage. The name Glarea comes from the Rhaeto-Romanic language and means gravel. A clear reference to the soil on which the vines grow. The gravel soil gives the wine a very strong minerality. Due to the slope of the vineyards and strong downdraughts, the grapes cool down considerably at night and in the early hours of the morning. During the day it is usually very hot, so that the temperature is balanced out accordingly. The Glarea benefits from this with a special freshness and balance. The wine is fermented and matured in wooden barrels of different sizes, which not only gives the wine longevity but also a good structure.The Glarea has a typical straw-yellow color with greenish reflections in the glass. The white wine has an intense aroma of banana, pineapple and dried apricots. The wine is juicy and fresh on the palate. It is particularly characterized by its extraordinary minerality. The finish is full of fresh power and harmony.The Glarea from Cantina Tramin goes very well with starters of all kinds. Try it with fish dishes or white meat. Cantina Tramin Goldmuskateller Alto Adige DOC 2024

To secure the future of many small local winegrowers, the Tramin cooperative was founded in 1898 in South Tyrol, Italy. Today, 170 winegrowing families cultivate a total of around 270 hectares of the winegrowing region and adhere to their philosophy of work and life, which is reflected in their wines: A sense of duty, commitment, confidence and creativity.The Goldmuskateller grape for the white wine of the same name from Cantina Tramin grows on slopes between 250 and 550 meters above sea level. The soils of the vineyards here are rich in limestone and have loamy to gravelly-loamy soils. The local terroir also includes strong temperature fluctuations between day and night. The night wind from the surrounding mountains provides the necessary cooling.After the harvest, the grapes were carefully pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 19°C. The Cantina Tramin Lagrein Rosso combines notes of violets and blackberries with a hint of cherry on the nose. On the palate, this Italian red wine from South Tyrol is full and velvety, with slightly tart nuances and aromas of raspberries, dark red cherries, bittersweet chocolate, black licorice and spices. This dry wine from Lagrein, the autochthonous grape variety of South Tyrol, has a ruby to dark garnet red color.The red wines of this vintage are elegant and harmonious. A wet summer with few hours of sunshine made a late harvest necessary. Cantina Tramin Loam Cabernet-Merlot Riserva 2022

The Loam Cabernet Merlot Riserva consists of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. This is a cuvée that could have been produced in the Bordeaux region. The method of ageing is also similar to that used in Bordeaux. After a meticulous harvest by hand, the grapes are fermented in large wooden casks at a temperature of 82.4 °F, leading to an intense aroma and colour, amongst other things. The ageing was carried out in small barriques for a period of 12 months. Subsequently, the wine matured for six months in large wooden casks. It was put on the market only after ageing another six months in the bottle. The special quality of the grapes, the interaction of the different grape varieties and the careful production guarantee the longevity of the Loam. This wine will be extraordinary even in ten years. The Cantina Tramin Loam Cabernet-Merlot Riserva is fruity and well-balanced. The intense but fine tannins are wonderfully integrated, giving the wine power, balance and an enormous depth.The Loam is a ruby red in colour. On the nose, it offers fruity, slightly astringent aromas of wild cherries, chocolate and various berries, complemented by notes of wild herbs. Each sip caresses the palate with aromas of red berries, dried fruit and subtle hints of cedar. The tannins underpin the finish with a blend of mineral and salty nuances.Enjoy the Cantina Tramin Loam with roasts with dark sauces, game or hearty grilled meat. It also goes beautifully with various blue cheeses.
