Cantina Cellaro Due Lune Nerello Mascalese / Nero d'Avola

The dark red Cantina Cellaro Due Lune Nerello Nero d'Avola from Italy's south is as spirited and lively as its native Sicily itself. Dark berries and a slight hint of pepper beat at the fiery heart of this red from the island.

The unique microclimate of the wine-growing community of Sambuca di Sicilia near Lake Arancio protects the treasure of the Nero d'Avola and Nerello Mascalese vines from heat and drought for the aromatic Cantina Cellaro Due Lune Nerello Nero d'Avola.

Ruby red in the glass, well-structured on the palate and particularly harmonious and lively, this powerful red wine is the best accompaniment to spicy game dishes, typical Italian pasta specialties and a select cheese platter. As authentic as its native Sicily itself, this dry wine wins the hearts of enthusiastic red wine lovers thanks to its balanced aroma of ripe blackberries and a touch of pepper and leather.

At a temperature of 16-18 °C, the soft and persistent tannins caress the palate. The great complexity of the grape varieties promises a long ageing potential and, depending on maturity, may have a hint of a balsamic note.

Cantina Cellaro
