Torre il Cerreto Governo All'Uso is a semi-dry red wine from the Italian region of Tuscany. This region, which is not only popular with tourists, produces a large selection of excellent wines. The so-called Governo method is becoming increasingly popular. This involves drying part of the grapes before they are fermented. This makes the fruit aromas even more concentrated and gives the wine a better structure.

The aroma of Torre il Cerreto Governo All'Uso is inviting with ripe fruit and fine spice. A 5-month maturation in French wooden barrels gives the wine a soft tannin structure, which creates a full mouthfeel. The wine tastes of plum and cherry jam. The finish is accompanied by a slight residual sweetness and spice.

The velvety soft wine can be described as a real palate flatterer. A bank on its own, Torre il Cerreto Governo All'Uso also hits the mark in combination with game dishes or Tuscan cuisine. Enjoy it with salami, grilled dishes or pasta with Bolognese.

On the palate, the red wine is fleshy, ripe and round. Tannins are clearly perceptible but finely polished, giving the Spanish red wine a slight sweetness. The soil is mainly “terra rossa”, with a fine texture and generally a calcareous undergound with a few emerging rocks. The well-known redness of these soils is due to the presence of iron oxides.
