The Tagaro Pinataro Negroamaro presents itself with an intense ruby red color, aromas of dark cherries, black currants and fine herbal notes. It is round on the palate with pleasant aromas of blueberries and blackberries, as well as velvety and pleasantly spicy with a subtle bitter note on the finish - typical of this grape variety.

The grapes for this red wine come from the northern part of Salento in Apulia and are processed gently. Temperature-controlled fermentation and ageing in stainless steel tanks preserve the fruity freshness and aromas typical of the variety. The wine then matures for 4 months in French oak barrels with medium toasting.

Tagaro ist ein familiengeführtes Boutique-Weingut im Herzen des Valle d’Itria in Apulien. Auf rund 450 Metern Höhe bewirtschaftet die Familie Lorusso ihre Weinberge bereits in dritter Generation.
