Tagaro Mancinello Nero di Troia Puglia IGP

The Tagaro Mancinello Nero di Troia Puglia IGP is an expressive red wine from the sun-drenched south of Italy. In the Apulia region, the Tagaro family creates modern interpretations of indigenous grape varieties. Nero di Troia - one of the oldest and most fascinating grape varieties in southern Italy - takes center stage here.

In the glass, the wine is a deep, dark ruby red. A complex bouquet of ripe dark berries, black cherry, plum and a hint of violet unfolds on the nose. Spicy nuances of black pepper, cedar wood and cocoa underline the depth of the wine. The Tagaro Mancinello Nero di Troia Puglia IGP impresses on the palate with a powerful structure, well-integrated tannins and a pleasant freshness that ensures balance.

The grapes are carefully harvested by hand to guarantee the highest quality. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks is followed by several months of ageing in French oak barrels. This vinification method gives the wine its harmonious balance between fruit, spice and fine roasted aromas. The use of wood remains discreet and emphasizes the elegant style of the Nero di Troia.

This Apulian red wine is an excellent accompaniment to hearty dishes such as lamb chops, game ragout or mature pecorino. It also harmonizes perfectly with Mediterranean pasta dishes with tomato sauce or eggplants.

Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento
Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento - Intense pleasure from ApuliaThe Primitivo grape variety has enjoyed unbroken popularity for years. The variety of Primitivo wines is now almost unmanageable. It is therefore all the more important to preserve the original character of this grape. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento does this very well. Deliberately with a little less residual sweetness and very structured on the palate, this dry wine from Italy is full-bodied but at the same time has a smoothness that is second to none. In a long process with the cellar master and owner Gaetano Marangelli from Cantine Menhir, we have brought the typical Apulian native form of a Primitivo into the bottle. The color is an intense dark red and shows all the power of the sun that was able to flow into the grapes of the Pr1mo. The nose has wonderful aromas of cherry jam, ripe plums and wild berries. Maturing in wooden barrels gives the wine an additional hint of vanilla. Fruit and fullness dominate the palate. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is always velvety and balanced. Enjoy the original Puglia. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is an all-rounder that can be enjoyed solo or with a good meal. Serve this wine with roast pork or dark meat from the grill.
