The Montecore Primitivo Puglia IGT from Apulia from the Femar Vini winery has a multi-faceted fruitiness and depth. The light menthol note on the nose ensures that this assertive Primitivo is not lacking in freshness. Notes of flowers and a hint of pepper on the palate linger on the tongue with beautiful persistence in the finish.Nevertheless, the Montecore Primitivo Puglia IGT is pleasantly rustic and therefore a wonderful wine for hearty, Italian-inspired dishes. This semi-dry red wine from Italy goes well with pasta Bolognese or medium-aged cheese, as well as meat antipasti, barbecues and other delights at a drinking temperature of 16-18 °C.

Deliberately with a little less residual sweetness and very structured on the palate, this dry wine from Italy is full-bodied but at the same time has a smoothness that is second to none. In a long process with the cellar master and owner Gaetano Marangelli from Cantine Menhir, we have brought the typical Apulian native form of a Primitivo into the bottle.The color is an intense dark red and shows all the power of the sun that was able to flow into the grapes of the Pr1mo. The nose has wonderful aromas of cherry jam, ripe plums and wild berries. Maturing in wooden barrels gives the wine an additional hint of vanilla. Fruit and fullness dominate the palate. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is always velvety and balanced. Enjoy the original Puglia.The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is an all-rounder that can be enjoyed solo or with a good meal.
