Auch ein feinherber Wein darf im Sortiment von Van Volxem nicht fehlen und so ist mit dem Rotschiefer Riesling Kabinett feinherb ein toller Wein gelungen. Eisenreicher roter Schiefer als Basis für die Reben prägt diesen Wein. Ein Spiel zwischen süß-reifer Frucht, bekömmlicher Säure und intensiver Mineralität sind einzigartig in dieser Form. In der Nase zeigt sich Aprikose, Mandelaroma und ein Hauch Safran. Am Gaumen mit viel Charme und Frische, lädt dieser Weißwein geradezu zu mehr ein. Auch der niedrige Alkoholgehalt trägt zum herrlichen Trinkgenuss bei.
