Der Alvi´s Drift Albertus Viljoen Chenin Blanc ist ein Weißwein aus der Icon Range des Weingutes. Der Wein stammt aus der südafrikanischen Region Western Cape, ist strahlend hell und hat eine blasse zitronige Farbe. Er prahlt mit einer Nase voller intensiver Pfirsich-, Blüten- und Zitronennoten. Diese Aromen setzen sich am Gaumen fort, mit frischen, knackigen Säuren, die perfekt mit festen Tanninen harmonieren. Die Fruchtaromen des Weins entfalten sich wunderbar und verweilen am mittleren Gaumen. Ein eleganter, abgerundeter Wein mit einer Struktur, die eine Lagerung von mindestens acht Jahren und mehr ermöglicht. Nach der Gärung wurde der Alvi´s Drift Albertus Viljoen Chenin Blanc 12 Monate in zu 70 % neuen Eichenfässern gereift und auf der Hefe belassen, um das Mundgefühl und die Komplexität durch regelmäßiges Batonnage zu verbessern.Servieren Sie den Albertus Viljoen Chenin Blanc zu würzigen Speisen wie mittelstark bis starkes Fisch- oder Hühnercurry, cremiger Gemüsesuppe oder kräftigen Käsen wie Cheddar oder Greyerzer.

Anselmo Mendes Muros Antigos Alvarinho DOC 2023

Der Anselmo Mendes Muros Antigos Alvarinho stammt ausschließlich aus Weinbergen der Regionen Moncao und Megaco. Die Traube Alvarinho gedeiht an Hängen mit Südausrichtung, die tagsüber von der Sonne reichlich verwöhnt werden. Die Böden sind vornehmlich aus Granit- und Kalkstein. Das Anbaugebiet Vinho Verde zeichnet sich durch die Nähe zum Atlantik aus. Durch die ständigen Winde wird immer genug Feuchtigkeit herangetragen. Der Wein erhält durch diese Meeresbrise und die gleichzeitig hohe Sonnenscheindauer eine außergewöhnliche Frische.Die Trauben wurden nach dem Entrappen schonend gepresst und danach über einen Zeitraum von 4 Tagen kalt geklärt. Es folgte eine lange Gärung, die bei Temperaturen zwischen 14 und 20 Grad Celsius ständig kontrolliert wurde. Der anschließende Ausbau auf der Feinhefe dauerte dann noch 6 Monate.Der Muros Antigos Alvarinho duftet in der Nase deutlich nach Zitrus und zeigt auch leicht tropische Noten. Der Wein hat einen auffallend mineralisch frischen Geschmacksausdruck. Er ist körperreich und vollmundig mit sehr guter Struktur. Weiterhin prägt er sich durch einen langen leicht bitteren Zitrusgeschmack im Abgang ein.

Anselmo Mendes Muros Antigos Escolha Vinho Verde DOC 2024

The Muros Antigos Escolha, DOC Vinho Verde from the north-west of Portugal is a cuvée made from the Alvarinho, Loureiro and Avesso grape varieties. The individual grape varieties have very different strengths, which they play off together. Alvarinho gives the wine structure, strength and body. Loureiro adds intense aroma and finesse, while Avesso contributes acidity and minerality.The grapes for the Escolha DOC Vinho Verde were gently pressed after destemming. This was followed by very cold must clarification and fermentation at a temperature of 12 to 16 degrees Celsius. Maturation was achieved by leaving the wine on the lees for 4 months. The wine smells of flowers and lots of green fruit. The taste is crisp, fresh and very fruity. The mouthfeel is characterized by good balance and structure. A balanced, harmonious wine.For everyday drinking, light and uncomplicated. Also goes well with light Mediterranean dishes.

Anselmo Mendes Muros Antigos Loureiro Vinho Verde DOC 2023

Der Muros Antigos Loureiro stammt aus dem Lima-Tal. Der gleichnamige Fluss Lima durchzieht das Tal und mündet schließlich in den Atlantik. Dieses Mikroklima verleiht dem trockenen Weißwein vom Weingut Anselmo Mendes seine besondere Aromatik. Anselmo Mendes besitzt 65 ha Rebflächen in diesem vom atlantischen Klima geprägten Tal. Die weiße Sorte Loureiro bringt hier großartige Frische und Struktur mit. Diese Frische und Spritzigkeit gepaart mit einem geringen Alkoholgehalt ergeben einen Weintyp der die Anbauregion in Portugal widerspiegelt. Die Trauben wurden bei der Verarbeitung einer kurzen Mazeration auf den Schalen unterzogen. Danach presste man die ganzen, von den Stielen entfernten, Trauben sanft. Im Anschluss fand eine kalte Klärung für 2 Tage statt. Nach einer längeren Gärung bei Temperaturen zwischen 12 und 16 Grad Celsius lagerte der Wein für 4 Monate auf der Feinhefe.Deutliche florale Noten und intensive Zitrusnoten verwöhnen die Nase. Am Gaumen ist der Muros Antigos Loureiro frisch, trocken und vielschichtig fruchtig. Der starke Charakter der Rebsorte findet auch im Abgang mit Blumennoten ein großartiges Finale.Schöner Begleiter für heiße Tage auf der Terrasse. Perfekt auch als Ergänzung beim Genuss von Schalentieren.

Anthonij Rupert Protea Chardonnay 2024

Die Trauben für den Protea Chardonnay vom Weingut Anthonij Rupert stammen aus verschiedenen Weingärten in Franschhoek und Robertson. Die einzelnen Partien wurden separat vergoren und zum Teil in französischer Eiche ausgebaut, um dem Wein eine höhere Komplexität und Struktur zu geben. Am Ende wurden alle Partien gemischt und abgefüllt. Noten der Blutorange konkurrieren mit Aromen von Grapefruit und Zitrone in der Nase. Auch am Gaumen findet sich beim Protea Chardonnay die Spritzigkeit von Zitrusfrüchten wieder. Die Saftigkeit einer Blutorange und von Pampelmuse ist im Mund deutlich wahrzunehmen. Eine frische Textur macht den Weißwein herrlich saftig und ausgereift. Passend zu allen kräftigen Salaten oder genießen Sie den Protea Chardonnay zur thailändischen Küche.

The Protea Sauvignon Blanc produced by Anthonij Rupert shows captivating notes of tropical fruit both on the nose and on the palate.
