Catena Chardonnay 2023

The Catena Chardonnay combines the unique expressions of three high altitude vineyard sites. The La Piramide vineyard offers rich pineapple, passion fruit flavors and aromas with a touch of sweet honey with a rich mouthfeel. The Domingo vineyard lends notes of citrus fruit with floral notes and excellent acidity. The Adrianna vineyard contributes green apple, pear and fig flavors with a strong mineral component and vibrant acidity.The wine shows a light yellow color with marked greenish tones. The aromas show tropical fruit flavors with touches of apple and pear as well as hints of cinnamon and minerals. The mouthfeel is full yet clean, with fresh, crisp acidity.

Chamonix Chardonnay Reserve 2018

Dieser hell strohfarben leuchtende Chardonnay aus Südafrika zählt zur ersten Riege der Weißweine vom Kap. Im Bukett des im Holz ausgebauten Chamonix Chardonnay Reserve vereinen sich Noten von tropischen Früchten, Ingwer, Gewürzen und auch Haferflocken.Am Gaumen ist der Chamonix Chardonnay Reserve gut strukturiert, mit mittlerem Körper und einer schönen Mineralität. Dazu kommen anregende Aromen von Limette und gerösteten Mandeln. Beim Ausbau dieses Weißweines habe die Macherinnen und Macher von Chamonix wenig dem Zufall überlassen. Der Chardonnay Reserve reifte zum größten Teil für 14 Monate in französischen Allier-Eichenfässern. Ein kleinerer Teil wurde im Beton-Ei ausgebaut. „Alles wurde genutzt, mit einem bewundernswerten Ergebnis“, urteilt Marston.3 bis 4 Jahre nach dem „release“ zeigt der Chamonix Chardonnay Reserve seine ganze Qualität. In Top-Jahrgängen bleibt sie bis zu 10 Jahre lang eindrucksvoll.

But that’s Charles Smith - extroverted and uncompromising in everything he does. He engaged the Danish artist Rikke Korff to design the labels. She was asked to visualise the martial art, Chinese food and his preference for Riesling wines.The Kung Fu Girl Riesling comes from the state of Washington, north of California. This part of America, with its sunny days and cool nights, offers ideal conditions for Riesling wines. This modern white wine is clear and instantly accessible. Its mineral character and an excellent balance of fruit and acidity make it a pleasure to drink. The Kung Fu Girl Riesling is a light yellow with slightly green glints in colour. The medium-dry wine is redolent of light peaches, mandarin oranges and apricots. A fine minerality and a decidedly pleasing freshness predominate the palate.Try this elegant Riesling with steamed fish, sushi, Indian dishes or grilled, sweet-and-sour poultry.

Chateau Buena Vista Chardonnay Carneros 2020

The Buena Vista Chardonnay Carneros is a Chardonnay produced in the Burgundy style and comes from the wine-growing region of Carneros located north of Sonoma, California. All of the wine matured in wooden casks. Subsequently, it was aged for 12 months in French and Hungarian oak casks, of which 25% were new French oak barrels. The Buena Vista Chardonnay Carneros is a beautiful honey yellow in the glass and is redolent of very sweet apples, marzipan and peach blossoms, underpinned by notes of pears and lemon, complemented by nuances of vanilla and spices. The medium-bodied wine bathes the palate with a pleasing balance. A clear, fine acidity gives the Buena Vista Chardonnay Carneros a wonderful finish. The grapes for this wine come from old vines in the wine-growing area of Chablis: many factors interact to create a unique taste experience. Chateau de Chemilly Coteaux Bourguignons Chardonnay

Der Coteaux Bourguignon ist ein Weißwein aus dem Burgund vom Chateau de Chemilly. Er gilt als der Einstiegswein des Chateaus. Der Wein besteht zu 100% aus Chardonnay Trauben und bringt das außergewöhnliche Terroir schon wunderbar zum Ausdruck. Die Weinberge befinden nahe den Gemeinden Beru und Vermenton und liegen am rechten Ufer des Flusses Serein. Die Trauben werden bei mäßiger Temperatur von maximal 20 Grad Celsius auf der Feinhefe vergoren. Danach schließt sich eine ca. 6-monatige Reifung im Edelstahltank an. Die Farbe des Coteaux Bourguignon ist goldgelb und glänzend hell. In der Nase zeigen sich Aromen von Birne und Quitte, die einen leicht exotischen Eindruck entwickeln. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Wein wunderbar fruchtig und blumig. Noten von Akazie und Orangenblüte verleihen dem Mundgefühl eine besondere Note. Die Säure ist leicht hintergründig, aber bis zum Abgang frisch.Probieren Sie den Coteaux Bourguignon als Aperitif.
