The Montes Alpha Pinot Noir from the Montes winery comes from the cool coastal vineyards of Aconcagua Costa, where gentle hills and fresh sea air allow the grapes to ripen slowly and in balance. The wine impresses with a harmonious combination of fruity freshness and fine structure.The grapes are harvested by hand in the morning and gently processed to preserve their fresh aromas. Part of the red wine matures for 10 months in French oak barriques, creating subtle notes of vanilla and crème brûlée, while the rest remains in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness.Bright ruby red, aromas of raspberries, blackberries and blueberries, complemented by ripe plums - this is the aroma of the Montes Alpha Pinot Noir. On the palate, it is soft, balanced and persistent, with a harmonious combination of fruity lightness and fine wood notes.This Montes Alpha Pinot Noir is an excellent accompaniment to pasta al pesto, creamy soups, veal chops, salmon or mushroom risotto, should be decanted for around 30 minutes before serving and is best enjoyed at a drinking temperature of 14 to 15 °C.

Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon

The Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon from the Colchagua Valley is a characterful red wine of international stature. It is produced on the Marchigüe estate, where the Cabernet Sauvignon vines thrive on stony, clayey soils with optimal water retention. The cuvée is complemented by small proportions of Syrah and Carmenère, which grow on the slopes and lend the wine additional depth and elegance.The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand and carefully selected. After gentle destemming, fermentation takes place over 7 to 10 days before malolactic fermentation is carried out in concrete and stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for 16 months in French oak, 60% of which is new wood - an ageing process that lends structure and complexity without masking the fruit.In the glass, the Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep ruby red. On the nose, it develops an intense aroma of ripe plums, dark cherries and dried figs, complemented by spicy notes of black pepper, graphite, dark chocolate, leather and a hint of mocha. It impresses on the palate with great volume, a powerful structure and a harmonious balance of fruit, spice and wood. The long, elegant finish rounds off the experience.The Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent accompaniment to hearty meat dishes such as beef steaks, lamb chops with Cabernet jus, game dishes or pasta with spicy Bolognese. It is also an excellent accompaniment to mature hard cheeses. Enjoy at 17-19 °C and decant for at least 30 minutes before drinking to allow its full spectrum of aromas to develop.

Montes Alpha Syrah

The Montes Alpha Syrah from the Vina Montes winery comes from Chile, from the Colchagua Valley region to be precise. This wine is particularly balanced and smooth.The dry red wine presents itself in an elegant red color with black-purple reflections. On the nose, the Syrah smells of black cherries, ripe plums and red fruits such as strawberries. Slightly smoky, sweet tobacco notes suggest elegance. On the palate, the Chilean red wine is very velvety, peppered with fine spicy notes. Due to its ageing in French oak barrels, notes of toast and crème brûlée are also present. The finish is harmoniously round and balanced with a beautiful length.In 2000, Aurelio Montes launched the exquisite wines of the Limited Series. Among them is this elegant cuvée from the Apalta Valley, which was originally intended to be a single-varietal Carmenère. This Sauvignon Blanc from Chile has an exotic aroma of passion fruit and grapefruit with hints of grass, boxwood and tomato leaves. The Montes Outer Limits Sauvignon Blanc is mineral on the palate with subtle salty notes. It is powerful and elegant at the same time. The long-lasting finish is fruity and intense. The pure Sauvignon Blanc is straw-colored with a delicate greenish shimmer.The grapes for the Montes Outer Limits Sauvignon Blanc are harvested by hand in the cool morning hours and transported to the winery chilled. There they are sorted and crushed at a maximum of 10 degrees. The resulting must is clarified by cold sedimentation and then fermented in fermentation tanks at 10-12 degrees. The white wine then matures for a few months on yeast cells. The slow and cool fermentation and maturation on the yeast cells give the wine its special fruit, which is typical of a Sauvignon Blanc. Purple Angel is a selection of our best Carmenère selected from our two Estates (50% sourced from Apalta, were its sunny vineyards give elegance to the wine and 50% from our Marchigue Estate, a coastal cool weather vineyard that produces low yields naturally and provides strength, concentration and a deep, intense carmine color to it. A fantastic wine that blends both elegance and powerPurple Angel showcases the spicy touches typical of Carmenère, with ripe, gentle and soft tannins, it’s a full bodied, concentrated wine that combines red berries and dark chocolate on the mouth with alluring cigar box, blackberries and plums aromas on the noseThe wine is blended with a touch of Petit Verdot to enhance its structure, color and cellaring potential. A mouth filling wine with a very long finish, definitely a unique Carmenère!Denomination of Origin: Purple Angel is a blend of 92% Carmenère and 8% Petit Verdot from the Colchagua Valley. Winemaking: Grapes are carefully hand picked. The clusters go through a grape by grape selection made by hand with a team of 14 people, in which only good fruit is allowed into the tank. During the 18 months of barrel aging in new French oak barrels, the wine is racked 3 times to get rid of lees, and allow some oxygen to interfere in the evolution and maturation of this wine.When the final blend is made, if the wine is totally clear, and has no microbiological pressure, there is no need for filtration or fining….so the wine goes unfiltered to the bottling process.Decant for at least an hour for better enjoyment, allowing the wine to open up.

The Montes Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is an expressive red wine from the Chilean Valle de Colchagua, one of the most renowned wine regions in South America.This Chilean red wine is characterized by a dense ruby red color with dark reflections. The intense aroma of fruits such as cassis and wild strawberries is accompanied by black cherries and a hint of chocolate: dark berries on the surface, delicately underlined by a hint of oak, supported by the solid and ripe tannins of this dry red wine.
