Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento - Intense pleasure from ApuliaThe Primitivo grape variety has enjoyed unbroken popularity for years. The variety of Primitivo wines is now almost unmanageable. It is therefore all the more important to preserve the original character of this grape. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento does this very well. Deliberately with a little less residual sweetness and very structured on the palate, this dry wine from Italy is full-bodied but at the same time has a smoothness that is second to none. In a long process with the cellar master and owner Gaetano Marangelli from Cantine Menhir, we have brought the typical Apulian native form of a Primitivo into the bottle.The color is an intense dark red and shows all the power of the sun that was able to flow into the grapes of the Pr1mo. The nose has wonderful aromas of cherry jam, ripe plums and wild berries. Maturing in wooden barrels gives the wine an additional hint of vanilla. Fruit and fullness dominate the palate. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is always velvety and balanced. Enjoy the original Puglia.The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is an all-rounder that can be enjoyed solo or with a good meal. Salentein Barrel Selection Malbec 2023

The ‘Barrel Selection’ line from the Salentein winery comprises pure varietal wines whose vines grow in vineyards situated between 1050 and 1700 metres above sea level, irrigated by the clean meltwater from the Andes mountains. The stony soils protect the vines from excessively cool temperatures at night. During the day, the hot climate and lots of sunshine form the ideal basis to create wines that wonderfully reflect the characteristics of the terroir of the Uco Valley. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay vines as well as the pure varietal Malbec are cultivated here.The Salentein Barrel Selection Malbec is an intense, slightly purplish red in colour. It is complex on the nose, offering an abundance of red fruit and black berries as well as light floral notes. Each sip softly caresses the palate with lots of fruit and a delicate sweetness. The finish is long and very smooth. This Malbec is fresh and fruity, with a lovely intensity.We recommend drinking it at a temperature of 16 °C (60.8 °F). The wine goes beautifully with grilled dishes, beef, lamb or cheeses. The Tagaro Mancinello Nero di Troia Puglia IGP is an expressive red wine from the sun-drenched south of Italy. In the Apulia region, the Tagaro family creates modern interpretations of indigenous grape varieties. Nero di Troia - one of the oldest and most fascinating grape varieties in southern Italy - takes center stage here.In the glass, the wine is a deep, dark ruby red. A complex bouquet of ripe dark berries, black cherry, plum and a hint of violet unfolds on the nose. Spicy nuances of black pepper, cedar wood and cocoa underline the depth of the wine. They’ve created something very innovative - a contemporary interpretation of the magnificent tradition of the Tenuta Sant’Antonio winery.The wines are pleasantly fresh and aromatic. The Rondinella grapes for the Scaia Rosato are gently pressed. After brief skin contact, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
