This Tagaro Pinataro Appassimento from Apulia seduces with opulent fruit, soft tannins and a hint of chocolate. Aromas of dried plums, blackcurrant, blueberry and blackberry and sweet roasted spices characterize the profile. On the palate, the red wine is full-bodied, velvety with strong aromas of red fruit jam and a harmonious residual sweetness on the long finish.After harvesting, the grapes are placed in crates to dry for 4-5 weeks in order to increase the sugar content and concentration. The Tagaro Pinataro Negroamaro presents itself with an intense ruby red color, aromas of dark cherries, black currants and fine herbal notes. It is round on the palate with pleasant aromas of blueberries and blackberries, as well as velvety and pleasantly spicy with a subtle bitter note on the finish - typical of this grape variety.The grapes for this red wine come from the northern part of Salento in Apulia and are processed gently. Temperature-controlled fermentation and ageing in stainless steel tanks preserve the fruity freshness and aromas typical of the variety. The wine then matures for 4 months in French oak barrels with medium toasting.Try the Tagaro Pinataro Negroamaro with pizza, pasta with tomato sauces, grilled vegetables or spicy casseroles. With the Tagaro Seicaselle Negroamaro Puglia IGP, the Tagaro winery presents an authentic red wine from Apulia that carries all the power and warmth of the south. The Negroamaro grape variety - whose name means "bitter black" - is a classic of the region and is known for its intense color, aromatic depth and velvety tannins.In the glass, the Tagaro Seicaselle Negroamaro Puglia IGP is a deep, almost inky ruby red with violet reflections. The nose is dominated by aromas of ripe dark fruits such as blackberry, black cherry and plum. There are also spicy notes of licorice, roasted coffee and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, soft and supple, with a pleasant fruity sweetness, well-integrated tannins and a long, aromatic finish.The Negroamaro grapes are selectively harvested by hand and gently processed. The temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in modern stainless steel tanks in order to preserve the fruity aromas and typicality of the grape variety. The wine then matures for four months in French oak barriques, which gives it additional complexity and a fine spiciness without overpowering the fruit.This red wine is the ideal accompaniment to hearty meat dishes such as roast beef, grilled steaks or roast lamb.
