The Cuvée T Red from the Cantina Tramin estate was made from the Vernatsch, Merlot and Pinot Noir grape varieties, giving this cuvée its distinctive character. On the one hand, this cuvée from South Tyrol is fresh and invigorating. On the other hand, it is soft and mild in taste. Cantina Tramin Loam Cabernet-Merlot Riserva 2022

The Loam Cabernet Merlot Riserva consists of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. This is a cuvée that could have been produced in the Bordeaux region. The method of ageing is also similar to that used in Bordeaux. After a meticulous harvest by hand, the grapes are fermented in large wooden casks at a temperature of 82.4 °F, leading to an intense aroma and colour, amongst other things. The ageing was carried out in small barriques for a period of 12 months. Subsequently, the wine matured for six months in large wooden casks. It was put on the market only after ageing another six months in the bottle. The special quality of the grapes, the interaction of the different grape varieties and the careful production guarantee the longevity of the Loam. This wine will be extraordinary even in ten years. The Cantina Tramin Loam Cabernet-Merlot Riserva is fruity and well-balanced. The intense but fine tannins are wonderfully integrated, giving the wine power, balance and an enormous depth.The Loam is a ruby red in colour. On the nose, it offers fruity, slightly astringent aromas of wild cherries, chocolate and various berries, complemented by notes of wild herbs. Each sip caresses the palate with aromas of red berries, dried fruit and subtle hints of cedar. The tannins underpin the finish with a blend of mineral and salty nuances.Enjoy the Cantina Tramin Loam with roasts with dark sauces, game or hearty grilled meat. It also goes beautifully with various blue cheeses.

Cantina Tramin Rungg Merlot-Cabernet 2023

The Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon blend is complemented somewhat by the Cabernet Franc grape variety. The Cabernet Franc gives the red wine its light spiciness. The grapes for Cantina Tramin's Rungg all come from vineyards located to the south of the village of Tramin. The vines grow on hilly terrain at an altitude of around 300 meters. The soils have a gravelly subsoil, the soil above is clayey and calcareous. The terroir gives the wine from Italy a pleasant tannin structure and elegance. The wine is matured in barriques and larger wooden barrels to bring out the aromas.The color of the Rungg is garnet red. The dry wine has an intense aroma of cherry, redcurrant and dried fruit. Wonderfully round on the palate with chocolate aromas and light roasted flavors. The finish is long-lasting and powerful.Thanks to its full-bodied taste, the Cantina Tramin Rungg Merlot-Cabernet from South Tyrol is an excellent accompaniment to game dishes, roasts or well-matured cheese.

The Appassionante Rosso Veneto is a blend consisting of the Merlot, Sangiovese and Corvina grape varieties. Before fermentation, the Merlot and Corvina grapes are dried on wooden racks – hence the name ‘Appassionante’ for this wine, which is a garnet red in colour with distinct glints. It offers aromas of red fruit on the nose, along with slightly spicy notes. On the palate, the Cielo Appassionante Rosso Veneto excels with its liveliness and complexity.The wine is full-bodied, complex and harmonious. It tastes intensely of dark cherries and plums, showing hints of cassis. Well-balanced tannins predominate in the finish, with a lovely fruity sweetness. This is an altogether luscious, round wine.Try the Appassionante Rosso Veneto with pasta or risotto. It is also an ideal accompaniment to grilled dishes and ripe, tangy cheeses.

Cielo e Terra 10 Rose Frizzante

Fruchtig, spritzig und wunderbar leicht ist der Cielo e Terra 9° Rosé Frizzante. Der leicht perlende Rosé wird aus Merlot-Trauben hergestellt. Die Gärung mit selektierten Hefen findet bei kontrollierter Temperatur statt. Anschließend reift der Perlwein in Edelstahltanks. Die Nase ist fruchtig mit Aromen von Erdbeeren, Himbeeren, Birnen und roten Johannisbeeren und leichten blumigen Noten. Am Gaumen ist der halbtrockene Frizzante fruchtig und erfrischend.Der geringe Alkoholgehalt von nur 9 Vol% macht den Cielo e Terra 9° Rosé Frizzante zu einem idealen Terrassen- und Sommerwein, der sowohl als Aperitif als auch als Begleiter zu sommerlichen Speisen eine gute Figur macht.

Der Collefrisio Appassimento Rosso stammt aus den Abruzzen in Mittelitalien und wird aus einer Mischung von autochthonen Trauben wie Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Sangiovese sowie der internationalen Sorte Merlot vergoren. Der Wein wird durch die Appassimento-Methode hergestellt, bei der die Trauben vor der Vinifikation teilweise getrocknet werden, um eine höhere Konzentration von Aromen und Zucker zu erreichen.Im Glas präsentiert sich der Collefrisio Appassimento Rosso mit einer tiefen, rubinroten Farbe und einer klaren, undurchsichtigen Textur. Beim Schwenken zeigt er eine hohe Viskosität und bildet am Rand des Glases einen leichten Purpurschimmer.In der Nase entfaltet der Wein ein komplexes und intensives Bouquet, das von reifen dunklen Beeren wie Schwarzen Johannisbeeren, Brombeeren und Kirschen dominiert wird. Diese werden begleitet von würzigen Noten wie Vanille, Schokolade, Tabak und Zedernholz sowie einem Hauch von Lakritz.Am Gaumen ist der Collefrisio Appassimento Rosso vollmundig und ausgewogen, mit gut integrierten Tanninen und einer feinen Säurestruktur. Die fruchtigen Aromen kommen hier ebenfalls zum Ausdruck und werden von Noten von Pfeffer, Zimt und Nelken begleitet.
