Collefrisio Appassimento Rosso

In his opinion, he created the best cuvée that can be made using the Appassimento method. The Mea Culpa Vino Rosso in an extraordinary wine in all respects. The Primitivo, Shiraz and Merlot grapes for the Appassimento cuvée come from two very different wine-growing regions in Italy. The Primitivo grapes come from Apulia, of course, while the Shiraz and Merlot grapes come from Sicily, wonderfully uniting to create this excellent blend. The responsible wine-maker Mario Minini and his team of oenologists worked on the optimal composition of this blend for a long time. The result is a medium-dry red wine, offering an abundance of aromas on the nose.Fine notes of chocolate, nuances of tobacco and strong fruit aromas of blackberries, strawberries and dark cherries unite with notes of mocha and vanilla. On the palate, the wine shows a vivid acidity and a fine tannin structure. The full but elegant body has an exquisite structure.
