The Raka Spliced is the perfect everyday wine that impresses with its fruity and balanced structure. The cuvée of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Viognier comes from the Klein River Valley wine-growing region in South Africa.The bouquet is characterized by intense berry notes such as cherries, mulberries and blackberries, complemented by a fine olive note. On the palate, the wine has juicy plum fruit, lively cranberry acidity and subtle smoky oak flavors that lend it depth and complexity.The grapes were harvested by hand and carefully sorted in the vineyard and in the cellar. After a second berry selection, the must was fermented with pure yeasts. During the five-day maceration, the juice was pumped over the skins several times a day and punched down by hand to extract the color, tannins and aromas in the best possible way. After fermentation, the wine was separated from the yeasts, underwent malolactic fermentation and then matured for 12 to 14 months in a combination of 225-liter French oak barriques, 25% of which were new barrels.This versatile wine is an excellent accompaniment to grilled vegetables, pasta with tomato sauce, grilled poultry or spicy cheese variations. Enjoy it at a recommended drinking temperature of 16-18 °C.

The Numina Gran Corte from Argentina’s prestigious Salentein estate is part of the premium range of the winery, and thus simultaneously one of the best Argentine wines. At Salentein, the decades of expertise of oenologist Jose Galante, a perfect terroir, a bold approach to innovation, and substantial investment in its cellars and technology complement each other to create an extremely fruitful environment from which wines like the Numina emerge.Only the best Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes are united to compose this unique blend. The Malbec variety, which is predominant in this wine, is the most widely established vine in Argentina. The grapes come from the Uco Valley in Mendoza, located at the foot of the Andes. The vines grow in vineyards at an altitude of up to 1,700 metres and benefit from lots of sun during the day and cooler temperatures at night. They are watered by the pure meltwater from the Andes.The Salentein Numina Gran Corte is a light, very intense crimson in colour. It is elegant and complex on the nose, offering notes of tobacco, cassis, bilberries, spices, vanilla and caramel. On the palate, this wine from South America shows all its typical characteristics, with lots of aromas of dark berries and soft, sweet and fine tannins. The finish is extremely long.This wine is the perfect blend of stunning fruit, which does not remain predominant but is compensated by sufficient complexity and depth.Decanted and enjoyed at a temperature of 16°C (60.8°F), the Salentein Numina Gran Corte is a very special delight. Ségla is the second wine from the renowned Château Rauzan-Ségla in Margaux. In the last two decades, Rauzan-Ségla has almost always been one of the top trio in the Margaux appellation, alongside the appellation's namesake and Château Palmer.The vintage was an extraordinarily good one, one speaks here of a vintage of the century.
