The family-run wine estate is idyllically situated in the shade of old oak trees to the west of Franschhoek and has been run by the Malherbe family since 1903. Today, Francois Malherbe is the fourth generation to carry on his great-grandfather's wine-growing legacy.In the glass, this medium to full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon develops intense aromas of red and black berries, complemented by subtle spicy nuances. The three months of ageing in French oak give the wine an elegant woody note that harmoniously supports the natural fruitiness. Eikehof Cape Ruby Grandpa's 1942 Ford

The Eikehof Cape Ruby from the established Eikehof wine estate in Franschhoek is a full-bodied Cape Ruby with a strong character, made in the traditional "port style".
