A beautiful everyday wine from Paul Mas.The Paul Mas Cabernet de Cabernet comes from valleys in the Languedoc. The climate there is Mediterranean, which results in round and soft wines. Around a fifth of the wine matured for 4 months in first and second fill barrels. The rest was matured in stainless steel tanks. Together, this results in a wine with a deep purple color and aromas of blackcurrants and various spices. The Paul Mas Cabernet de Cabernet is round on the palate, with soft tannins. Ripe fruit gives the wine a good length.Enjoy the Paul Mas Cabernet de Cabernet on its own or with a pasta dish topped with cheese.

Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Cabernet - Merlot 2023

The blend of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and a large proportion of Merlot comes from 19-year-old vines with small yields, but very high quality. On the nose Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Cabernet-Merlot is elegant and wonderfully complex, with aromas of plums, red currants and spices. There are also notes of licorice and vanilla.More than seven months this creation of Domaines Paul Mas matured in (partially new) oak barrels. On the palate, the Vin de Pays d'Oc is beautifully balanced, with noticeable but mild tannins. The ruby Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Cabernet-Merlot has a long finish with hints of chocolate.

Ségla 2022

Ségla is the second wine from the renowned Château Rauzan-Ségla in Margaux. In the last two decades, Rauzan-Ségla has almost always been one of the top trio in the Margaux appellation, alongside the appellation's namesake and Château Palmer.The vintage was an extraordinarily good one, one speaks here of a vintage of the century. This is particularly true of Margaux, where the wines show a wonderful balance between fruit and the finesse typical of the appellation.The cuvée consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.The Ségla is now at the height of drinking maturity and impresses with its beautiful black berries, minerality, silky tannins and spicy notes.
