Intense notes of black fruit and violets dominate the bouquet of Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Cabernet-Syrah. There are also aromas of wood, green pepper and hints of toasted bread and spices. This red wine of the traditional Domaines Paul Mas in Southern France is wonderfully balanced on the palate, with good structure and supple tannins.

This Vin de Pays d'Oc comes from 15 year old vines and is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. 50% of the assemblage matured for more than eight months in new oak barrels.

Enjoy this fine red wine of Domaines Paul Mas with its long finish with hints of licorice.

Der 100%ige Cabernet Sauvignon stammt aus Tälern im Languedoc. Das Klima dort ist mediteran geprägt, was zu runden und weichen Weinen führt. Etwa ein Fünftel des Weins reifte für 4 Monate in Fässern erster und zweiter Füllung. Der Rest wurde im Edelstahltank ausgebaut. Zusammen ergibt das Wein mit tiefvioletter Farbe und Aromen von schwarzen Johannisbeeren und unterschiedlichen Gewürzen. Im Geschmack ist der Paul Mas Cabernet Sauvignon rund mit weichen Tanninen. Die Rebsorten Grenache, Mourvèdre und Syrah prägen diesen Vignes de Nicole Rosé. Die Trauben wachsen auf den Hügeln des Herault Tals auf lehmigen, kreidehaltigen Böden und werden für diese Cuvee einzeln vinifiziert, wobei der Gärungsprozess zwei Wochen bei 17 Grad Celsius andauerte. Danach reifte der Wein der Domaines Paul Mas 40 Tage auf der Hefe. Zum Einsatz kamen neue beschichtete Zementtanks.Der Vignes de Nicole Rosé zeichnet sich durch eine sehr klare leicht rosa Farbe aus. In der Nase finden sich Aromen von roten Beeren, Kirschen und tropischen Früchten. Am Gaumen ist der französiche Wein herrlich frisch, leicht säurebetont, kräftig aber rund und mit einer guten Länge im Abgang.Zu Meeresfrüchten, Schalentieren oder zu Schweinefleisch ist der Rosé-Wein einfach perfekt.

The Rungg Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon is supplemented by the Cabernet Franc grape variety, giving the wine a light spice. The grapes for the Rungg from the Cantina Tramin estate come from terroirs located south of the village of Tramin. The vines grow on hilly vineyards situated about 300 metres above sea level. The soils consist of gravelly subsoils, while the topsoil contains clay and lime. The terroir gives the wine a pleasant tannin structure and elegance. To underscore the aromas, aging was carried out in barriques and larger wooden casks. The Rungg is a garnet-red in colour and has an intense bouquet of cherries, currants and dried fruit. The wine is wonderfully round on the palate, offering chocolate and light roast aromas, with a powerful, long-lasting finish. Due to its full body, the Cantina Tramin Rungg Merlot-Cabernet goes beautifully with game, roasts or ripe cheeses.
