This blend, mainly consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon and smaller percentages of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec, has a wonderfully multi-faceted bouquet uniting nuances of liquorice and blackberries with intense notes of cassis and a lovely spice. This showcase blend from South Africa is impressively concentrated on the palate, underpinned by skilfully integrated tannins. The Delaire Graff Botmaskop matured for 16 months in French oak casks, of which 50% were new barrels.

This Sauvignon Blanc is a blend consisting of grapes that come from the wine-growing regions of Durbanville, Stellenbosch, Darling and Franschhoek. This white wine from South Africa has a wonderfully enticing bouquet offering notes of tropical fruit, underpinned by nuances of black currants and gooseberries. On the palate, the Declaire Graff Coastal Cuvee Sauvignon Blanc is balanced and beautifully multi-layered. This cuvée also includes small percentages of Semillon which was aged in French wooden casks, giving this assemblage its complexity. The Sauvignon Blanc, wonderfully uniting all the advantages of its cultivation areas, has a fresh, crisp acidity and a long finish. This wine has a deep dark inky garnet colour with a touch of red brick evident on the rim. This is an intensely complex wine with intense dark berry fruit and crème de cassis notes on the nose. There is an inky heady dark character on the nose reminiscent of dark chocolate, cardamom spice and roasted fennel bulb. Always evident on this wine and a hallmark of every vintage is the hint of Eucalyptus or mint. The palate is full and rich mirroring most of what is evident on the nose. Displaying cocoa, mocha notes ripe berry fruits and a spicy grip. The tannins are broad and textured and leave the wine with a dry finish as well as there being a certain amount of freshness which results in the wine lingering on and on.Food pairing: Veal Osso Bucco or Grilled fillet steak served with red wine sauce, bone marrow, shallots and French fries.

This Shiraz from the Stellenbosch region unites notes of lavender, dark, red fruit and mulberries in its bouquet, finely rounded off by nuances of white pepper. The ruby-red wine is supple on the palate, with an impressively aromatic finish. This low-yield vintage is characterised by small, concentrated and very healthy grapes. The pure varietal Shiraz matured for 12 months in French oak casks. The Delaire Graff Shiraz is a fine taste experience and an outstanding example of the South African art of viticulture, especially when Shiraz wines are concerned.

Der Boekenhoutskloof Chocolate Block ist ein unverwechselbares Geschmackserlebnis aus Südafrika. In der Nase vereint dieser Blend aus knapp drei Viertel Syrah (Shiraz) sowie kleineren Anteilen von Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Noir, Cinsault und Viognier vielfältige Noten: Intensive Kirschnoten, Kardamom, süßer Tabak, Espresso und ein Hauch von Parfüm kommen hier zusammen. Am Gaumen vollmundig und rund, mit sehr guter Struktur, erfrischender Säure, einer rauchigen Mineralität und Aromen von schwarzen Oliven, sowie Lakritz und reifen Pflaumen.Für 16 Monate wurde der Boekenhoutskloof Chocolate Block im Eichenholz ausgebaut, wobei zu 10% neue Fässer zum Einsatz kamen. Der außergewöhnliche Wein passt ideal zu Pasta und Pizza, dunklem Fleisch (gebraten oder gegrillt), zu Geräuchertem oder zu mittelkräftigem Käse oder Hartkäse.Auch als 1.5-Liter-Magnum-Flasche erhältlich.
