Whether it is the dark color or the concentrated taste, the San Marzano Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria is intense. It is almost black in the glass with ruby red reflections. This red wine is made from a single variety of the Primitivo grape. The 60-year-old vines of Cantine San Marzano grow on limestone rocks in Apulia. The high sun and the cool Scirocco ensure that the grapes thrive.The bouquet beguiles with aromas of blueberries, cherries, blackberries and plums as well as notes of cedar wood, mocha, nougat, tobacco and a hint of aniseed. It is full and soft on the palate, with hints of black cherry. This intense taste experience leads to a lingering finish.For optimum enjoyment, serve this semi-dry red wine at a drinking temperature of 18 °C. Knipser Cuvée X

The Knipser Cuvée X from the Knipser winery impresses with a multi-faceted bouquet with spicy notes of cassis, tobacco, coffee and cedar. On the palate, the dry composition of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc is dense and intense, with ripe, perfectly integrated tannins and impressive length.The grapes grow in the best vineyards of the Knipser winery in the Palatinate, which are characterized by limestone. Through short pruning and the so-called "green harvest" - the targeted thinning out of unripe grapes in summer - the yield is reduced in order to produce a particularly concentrated and elegant red wine. The Cuvée X then matures for 24 months in new French oak barriques, which further emphasizes its complex aromas of dark fruit, chocolate and fine spices.Enjoy the Knipser Cuvée X with roast meat, braised lamb, beef or game. The ideal drinking temperature is 16-18 °C.
