The Buitenverwachting Christine is an elegant Bordeaux cuvée from South Africa, consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The Buitenverwachting wine estate stands for precise viticulture and wines with a strong character that reflect the elegance and complexity of the Constantia Valley near Cape Town.

This Bordeaux-style cuvée combines power and finesse in perfect harmony and delights with wonderful blackberry and vanilla aromas as well as spicy, piquant notes.

After careful selection of the grapes, the wine matures for 24 months in new French oak barrels (barriques) and then for a further 3.5 years in the bottle. On the palate, Buitenverwachting Christine is full-bodied, structured and harmonious, with velvety fruit density and a finely spiced tannin structure that makes it one of South Africa's most sought-after red wines.

The Boekenhoutskloof Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant and powerful red wine from South Africa that impresses with its remarkable depth, structure and aromatic complexity. This red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon and a small proportion of Cabernet Franc comes from organically farmed vineyards in Franschhoek. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand, rigorously selected and then fermented spontaneously in egg-shaped concrete tanks. The wine is matured in 95% new French oak barrels - a vinification process that gives the wine its elegant texture, velvety tannins and characteristic roasted aromas.In the glass, the wine is a deep purple red. From the very first whiff, it reveals a complex bouquet of dark berries, eucalyptus, graphite and herbs such as lavender and thyme. There are also nuances of liquorice, black tea and fine spices, which underline the aristocratic character of this Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, the wine is concentrated but never overloaded. The fruit is densely interwoven with a fine minerality, the acid structure is precise, the tannins ripe and supple. The wine lingers on the finish - with notes of cassis, mocha and a hint of leather.The Boekenhoutskloof Cabernet Sauvignon is an ideal accompaniment to aromatic, spicy meat dishes. Im Glas ein heller, lebendiger Platin-Farbton mit grüner Tönung. Komplexes Bouquet von Zitronengras, Limetten, Hafermehl, ausdrucksstarker Mineralität.Am Gaumen ist der südafrikanische Wein von mittlerem Körper, aber mit klarer Säure, Aromen von Kalk, Marzipan, cremige ausgedehnte Eichen-, Apfel- und Birnbaum-Merkmale. Durch eine reine, lineare mineralische Note ergibt sich ein sauberer und langer Abgang.Von Hand gepflückt, als gesamte Partie gepresst und sofort in 300 Liter Fässer aus französischer Eiche gefüllt. Dabei wurden 60% neue Fässer und 40% Fässer, die schon bereits einmal befüllt waren, verwendet. Die Gärung fand in Eiche statt, teils als natürliche und teils als malolaktische Gärung. Die Reifung erfolgte für 12 Monate in Eichenfässern mit gelegentlichem Rühren vor dem Abfüllen in Flaschen.Dieser Weißwein aus der Region Stellenbosch passt perfekt zu gegrilltem Fisch, weißem und rotem Fleisch.
