The Delaire Graff Coastal Cuvée Sauvignon Blanc hails from South Africa’s renowned Coastal Region and blends grapes from the Durbanville, Stellenbosch, and Darling wine-growing areas. This cuvée, made from Sauvignon Blanc and a small percentage of Semillon, combines freshness and elegance with remarkable depth.

After a short maceration period, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented under temperature control. The white wine then ages on the fine lees for several months. The Semillon component, partially fermented in barriques, lends it additional structure and body.

In the glass, the Delaire Graff Coastal Cuvée Sauvignon Blanc delights with aromas of tropical fruits, accompanied by notes of blackcurrant, gooseberry, and a hint of nettle. On the palate, it is balanced and complex, with juicy fruit, lively acidity, and a long, fresh finish.

This South African white wine pairs excellently with fish, seafood, sushi, asparagus dishes, salads with goat cheese, or white meat poultry. The Delaire Graff Coastal Cuvée Sauvignon Blanc also makes an excellent aperitif. The ideal serving temperature is 8 to 10 °C.

The Life from Stone Sauvignon Blanc from Springfield Estate in Robertson, South Africa, is an impressive example of the region's exceptional minerality. On the estate's extremely stony quartz soils, the vines thrive in challenging conditions, giving the wine its characteristic pebbly, mineral expression. Every step in the vineyard reflects the meticulous handiwork of Springfield Estates: the planting of the older vines required monumental efforts, sometimes even the use of dynamite, to penetrate the hard rock.The vines are planted on a gently south-facing slope with 6060 vines per hectare. The climate is characterized by moderate summers with cool nights and cold winters, while the southeast wind in summer ensures healthy, aromatic grapes. These grapes are harvested at night and immediately protected with dry ice to preserve their freshness and fine aromas. Delaire Graff Banghoek Chardonnay

The Delaire Graff estate is renowned for its elegant, multi-layered wines. The Banghoek Chardonnay from the eponymous valley located northwest of Stellenbosch in South Africa is the best evidence of this. The valley provides ideal conditions for the Chardonnay grapes, sufficient humidity and balanced sunlight on the slopes. The grapes were harvested by hand in the cool morning hours over a period of 14 days, based on the grapes’ level of maturity. After pressing, the wine was fermented in barrels. Subsequently, the Delaire Graff Banghoek Chardonnay matured for 10 months in barriques, of which 40% were new French oak casks.The wine has a wonderfully clear bouquet hinting of vanilla and peaches, along with nuances of honey. On the palate, the Banghoek Chardonnay is multi-layered, marvellously fresh and very elegant. Its long-lasting finish is characterised by a lovely minerality.
