Valdelagunde Semidulce Verdejo Viura

Paolo Escudero from the Bodegas Pedro Escudero winery used Viura and Verdejo grapes to produce the vegan Valdelagunde Semidulce. As the Viura grapes ripen earlier, the grapes were harvested at different times. The Verdejo grapes, which were harvested later, were only included in the final phase of the fermentation process.

This resulted in a unique sparkling white wine with a natural sweetness, low acidity and low alcohol content. This wonderful cuvée from Spain seduces with summery aromas of melon, pineapple and fresh apples.

Serve the Valdelagunde Semidulce Verdejo Viura well chilled. It goes very well with white meat, fish and spicy dishes and is a great terrace wine for warm summer evenings when drunk on its own.

Die Bodegas Pedro Escudero liegt im Weinanbaugebiet Rueda, einem der aussichtsreichsten und vielseitigsten Weißweinregionen Spaniens. Die Weingüter Ruedas kultivieren mit großem Erfolg die Verdejo-Rebe, aus der auch die Bodegas Pedro Escudero hervorragende Weine keltert.

Die Familie Escudero betreibt das Weingut seit mehreren Generationen. Es befindet sich in der felsigen Gegend des Fuente Elvira Weinbergs nahe der Gemeinde La Seca.

Pedro Escudero, der die Bodegas leitet, legt großen Wert auf die Sorgfalt der Arbeit im Weinberg und ist verantwortlich für die hohe Qualität der Produkte. Die Bodegas verfügt über modernste kellertechnische Anlagen, Grundlage der sehr guten Qualität der Weine.

Besonders ist in Rueda, dass grundsätzlich nachts geerntet wird, um vorzeitige Oxidation zu vermeiden. Das Weingut umfasst 32 Hektar Anbaufläche und will in Zukunft verstärkt auf biologischen Weinanbau setzen.
