Pedro Escudero Valdelagunde Cuvée Especial Verdejo DO is an intense, rich wine, in which the flavours of stone fruit (peach, apricot) predominate. Spicy notes appear, lightly, with a touch of vanilla from the oak barrels, accompanying the characteristic, bitter almond aftertaste of a Verdejo wine.

This wine has been made exclusively from Verdejo grapes harvested from vineyards of the Bodegas Pedro Escudero, rooted in the rocky lands of the Fuente Elvira vineyard in the village La Seca. Part of the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats, part is a maceration most, other part has paralysed the fermentation and the last part in French and American oak casks.

Die Familie Escudero betreibt das Weingut seit mehreren Generationen. Es befindet sich in der felsigen Gegend des Fuente Elvira Weinbergs nahe der Gemeinde La Seca.

Pedro Escudero, der die Bodegas leitet, legt großen Wert auf die Sorgfalt der Arbeit im Weinberg und ist verantwortlich für die hohe Qualität der Produkte. Die Bodegas verfügt über modernste kellertechnische Anlagen, Grundlage der sehr guten Qualität der Weine.

Paolo Escudero from the Bodegas Pedro Escudero winery used Viura and Verdejo grapes to produce the vegan Valdelagunde Semidulce. As the Viura grapes ripen earlier, the grapes were harvested at different times. The Verdejo grapes, which were harvested later, were only included in the final phase of the fermentation process.This resulted in a unique sparkling white wine with a natural sweetness, low acidity and low alcohol content. This wonderful cuvée from Spain seduces with summery aromas of melon, pineapple and fresh apples.Serve the Valdelagunde Semidulce Verdejo Viura well chilled. Der El Coto Blanco stammt aus der angesehenen Bodega El Coto de Rioja, die für ihre authentischen und qualitativ hochwertigen Weine bekannt ist.
