The Trittenheimer Apotheke is one of the outstanding terroirs on the Moselle. Weinhaus Gebrüder Steffen owns several hectares of vineyards here, including extremely steep slopes, some of which have a gradient of up to 70%. The work in these sites is very arduous, but the reward is wines of particular intensity.

The narrow Moselle bend near Trittenheim is a fantastically beautiful place, and the Riesling wines that are produced here leave a lasting impression. The Steffen Trittenheimer Apotheke Riesling Spätlese combines notes of apple and peach with nuances of lime and grapefruit in its multi-faceted, fruity bouquet. 1794 gründeten die Geschwister Steffen-Schmitt eine Weinkellerei in Trittenheim, einem Moselort in einem der berühmtesten Weinbauregionen Europas. In diesem Gebiet an der Mittelmosel sind heute besonders herausragende Steillagen-Rieslinge zu finden.

Nach über 200 Jahren Erfahrungen im Weinbau hat sich das Familienunternehmen zu einem Begriff für hervorragende Qualitätsweine etabliert. Durch die direkte Zusammenarbeit mit einheimischen Winzern, einer Kelterstation in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft und fortwährende Entwicklungen in Abfüll- und Kellertechnik haben die Gebrüder Steffen sich mit ihren Weinen einen weltweiten Ruf erarbeitet.
