Muga Reserva Seleccion Especial Rioja DOCa

With the Muga Reserva Selección Especia, the renowned Muga winery from Rioja presents an exceptional red wine that perfectly reflects the terroirs of Montes Obarenes and Sierra Cantabria. The clay-limestone tertiary soils give the cuvée of Tempranillo, Garnacha tinta, Graciano and Mazuelo an unmistakable minerality and depth.

The glass reveals an intense, bright cherry red color. The nose reveals a complex aroma in which ripe fruit, spices such as clove and vanilla and subtle notes of cocoa and chocolate from ageing in French oak barrels blend harmoniously. On the palate, the wine impresses with elegant, polished tannins, perfectly integrated acidity and a balanced structure. The long, complex finish again combines fruity and toasty nuances and makes this wine an ideal companion for ageing.

The Muga Reserva Selección Especial is an excellent accompaniment to red meat, lamb and game dishes. It is best enjoyed at 16-18 °C to experience its full spectrum of aromas.

Bodegas Muga

This red wine is redolent of blackberries and fennel, complemented by fine roast aromas and lovely nuances of vanilla, coffee and white chocolate. The Rioja is impressively full-bodied and aromatic on the palate, offering the fruitiness of berries, hints of menthol and an elegant acidity. The finish is long-lasting. Muga Prado Enea Gran Reserva Rioja DOCa
Luis Gutiérrez ist in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate merklich hingerissen: „It has very healthy and balanced parameters, and that's what the wine feels like. It's still young. It's never a dark wine, more of a ruby or bright color, and it has a nose of youth, subtle and elegant. But the quality shows in the unbelievable elegance and harmony on the palate, where the tannins are very fine, the flavors are subtle but deep and the length is just phenomenal.”Die Rebsorten Tempranillo, Garnacha sowie kleinere Anteile Mazuelo und Graciano ergeben dieses außergewöhnliche Zusammenspiel.

The Zenato Ripassa della Valpolicella from Zenato is a carefully composed product that convincingly combines the best characteristics of the Valpolicella wines of Veneto. A second fermentation of the batches from Valpolicella and six months of ageing in the bottle give the wine a very intense, long character. The deep red, velvety color alone gives an idea of the broad tableau with which this wine will impress. And the Ripassa does not disappoint. Complex berry aromas delight the nose and palate. The extremely long finish lingers gently on the tongue and is one of the strongest characteristics of this wine from Italy. The Ripassa della Valpolicella has brought the Zinato winery to the attention of wine connoisseurs who like to experiment. We recommend a drinking temperature of 18°C. Strong game and red meat are the best aromatic counterweights for this wine.
