Luis Canas Reserva Rioja DOCa
The Luis Canas Reserva Rioja DOCa is a wonderfully complex Rioja. The Tempranillo and Graciano grapes for the Reserva come from vines that are on average 40 years old. After careful harvesting and selection, only the best grapes are used. They are aged for 18 months in 60% French and 40% American oak. The wine then remains in the bottle for a further 12 months. Juan Luis Canas proves his skills once again. He has created an elegant wine with aromas of fine wood, ripe black fruit, coffee and spicy nuances. The Reserva Rioja DOCa is very pleasant and complex on the nose. On the palate, it is oily, round and smooth with a great structure and juicy tannins.Serve this brilliant ruby red wine with beef dishes and medium-aged, not too spicy cheese.

This magnificent Reserva is made from 100% grapes of the Tinta del Pais variety, commonly known as Tempranillo. After the grapes were subjected to further manual selection and pressed, fermentation began on the skins at a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. The fermentation process lasted a total of 24 days. The wine then matured for 18 months, 2/3 in French and 1/3 in American oak barrels, before continuing its development for a further 24 months in the bottle. The color of the Protos Reserva is an intense dark red with almost black reflections towards the rim. On the nose, there are clear notes of black fruit, as well as toasted and spicy notes. Cinnamon, tobacco, cocoa, vanilla and wet gravel can also be perceived. Black pepper, rosemary and laurel reflect the spicy notes. Overall, the wine leaves a complex and elegant impression. On the palate, the Protos Reserva is incredibly intense and powerful. Coto de Imaz Reserva
The Coto de Imaz Rerserva is brick-colored with orange nuances typical of Rioja. Delicate notes of berries and jam dominate the palate, wrapped in smoky spice aromas and vanilla tones. This red wine is finely balanced with noticeable but incredibly soft and mild tannins and an intense, complex structure. The finish is long-lasting and elegant. The grapes come mainly from the clay soils of Rioja Alta, but also from the limestone soils of Rioja Alavesa. Zenato Ripassa della Valpolicella
The Zenato Ripassa della Valpolicella from Zenato is a carefully composed product that convincingly combines the best characteristics of the Valpolicella wines of Veneto. A second fermentation of the batches from Valpolicella and six months of ageing in the bottle give the wine a very intense, long character. The deep red, velvety color alone gives an idea of the broad tableau with which this wine will impress. And the Ripassa does not disappoint. Complex berry aromas delight the nose and palate. The extremely long finish lingers gently on the tongue and is one of the strongest characteristics of this wine from Italy. The Ripassa della Valpolicella has brought the Zinato winery to the attention of wine connoisseurs who like to experiment. We recommend a drinking temperature of 18°C. Strong game and red meat are the best aromatic counterweights for this wine.
