Diese spanische Komposition aus den Rebsorten Tempranillo und (in kleinen Anteilen) Graciano hat eine tiefe, dunkel-kirschrote Farbe. Im Bouquet des Marques de Riscal Reserva Rioja vereinen sich Noten von reifer Frucht und feinwürzige Holztöne mit Noten von Lakritz, Zimt und schwarzem Pfeffer. Am Gaumen ist der für 24 Monate in amerikanischer Eiche gereifte Blend elegant frisch-fruchtig, mit geschliffenen Tanninen, großer Komplexität und Ausgewogenheit,  sowie einem langen Nachhall mit feinen balsamischen Tönen.

The Coto de Imaz Rerserva is brick-colored with orange nuances typical of Rioja. Delicate notes of berries and jam dominate the palate, wrapped in smoky spice aromas and vanilla tones. This red wine is finely balanced with noticeable but incredibly soft and mild tannins and an intense, complex structure. The finish is long-lasting and elegant.The grapes come mainly from the clay soils of Rioja Alta, but also from the limestone soils of Rioja Alavesa. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by 16 to 18 months of ageing in American barrique barrels. The Coto de Imaz Rerserva then matures in the bottle for at least two years before being released for sale.An excellent accompaniment to game dishes, confit de canard, grilled red meat or ham. Also wonderful with medium-aged, not too spicy cheese.

Die Trauben für den Palacio de Primavera Reserva stammen von weingutseigenen Rebanlagen in der Gemeinde Alfaro. Dort herrscht ein kontinentales Klima mit mediterranen Einflüssen. Die 45 Jahre alten Reben werden von Winzer Gorka Etxebarria mit besonderer Behutsamkeit gepflegt. So kann dieser wunderbare Wein entstehen. Er verwendet für die Reifung des Rotweins sowohl französische als auch amerikanische Eichenfässer.Schon die Farbe ist ausdrucksstark, ein tiefes Rubinrot mit wunderschönen glänzenden Reflexen. In der Nase finden sich rauchige Noten, gepaart mit Noten von Gewürzen und Kräutern. Dazu kommen Aromen von Pflaumenmarmelade und ein Hauch von Zedernholz und Schokolade. Am Gaumen ist der Palacio de Primavera Reserva rund und voll, mit einer herrlichen Frische und Sanftheit. Der intensive und langanhaltende Geschmack wird eingerahmt von reifen Tanninen und hochwertiger Eiche. Burgo Viejo Palacio de Primavera Reserva ist ein Rioja mit einem unglaublichen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Barón de Ley Reserva Is made from grapes coming from our own vineyards in Mendavia (Rioja Baja). The climate in this part of Rioja, with clear Mediterranean influence, provides excellent maturations which, combined with a low yield viticulture (5.000 kgrs/Ha. aproximately), result in modern Riojas with a “mediterranean soul”; wines with combine remarkable power with the elegance and harmony that have always been characteristic of the Rioja wines. The wine was aged for 20 months in new american oak casks, and afterwards 24 months in bottle until arriving to its ideal moment for enjoyment. This wine has not been submitted to filterings or artificial stabilizations, which might result in the appearance of natural sediments in the bottle.With an attractive red ruby coulour with medium-high intensity, in the nose it suprises for a powerful fruit remarkably blended with traces from its noble ageing: coconut and toffee, evolving into seductive nuances of spices and mediterranean bush. The attack is truly powerful and develops in the mouth a pleasant sensation of volume and onctuosity with drives us to a long finish, nervous and fresh due to its optimum acidity, and bringing back an aftertaste with red fruits and again mediterranean bushes.

Production area: Selected vineyards of Neviera and Casa Rossa, located in San Marzano district. The soil is mainly “terra rossa”, with a fine texture and generally a calcareous undergound with a few emerging rocks. The well-known redness of these soils is due to the presence of iron oxides. The climate is characterised by high temperatures all year round, very few rainfalls and a wide difference of temperature between night and day, which has a nice influence on the quality of grapes. This is the “classical” central area of d.o.c. ”Primitivo di Manduria” Harvest period: Third decade of August, first decade of September Vinification: Hand-harvested in small baskets. Maceration: 18 days with selected autochtonous yeasts.
