The Marqués de Riscal Reserva Rioja DOCa is a classic Rioja red wine from the renowned Marqués de Riscal winery, which is known for its centuries-old tradition and innovation.

This Spanish composition from the Tempranillo and (in small proportions) Graciano grape varieties has a deep, dark cherry-red color. The bouquet of the Marques de Riscal Reserva Rioja combines notes of ripe fruit and finely spiced wood tones with hints of licorice, cinnamon and black pepper. Aged for 24 months in American oak, the blend is elegantly fresh and fruity on the palate, with polished tannins, great complexity and balance, as well as a long finish with fine balsamic tones.

A wonderfully uncomplicated classic from Spain that goes very well with fine ham (Serrano), mild, medium-aged cheese, poultry or red meat.

The Coto de Imaz Rerserva is brick-colored with orange nuances typical of Rioja. Delicate notes of berries and jam dominate the palate, wrapped in smoky spice aromas and vanilla tones. This red wine is finely balanced with noticeable but incredibly soft and mild tannins and an intense, complex structure. The finish is long-lasting and elegant.The grapes come mainly from the clay soils of Rioja Alta, but also from the limestone soils of Rioja Alavesa. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by 16 to 18 months of ageing in American barrique barrels. The Coto de Imaz Rerserva then matures in the bottle for at least two years before being released for sale.An excellent accompaniment to game dishes, confit de canard, grilled red meat or ham. Also wonderful with medium-aged, not too spicy cheese.

Die Trauben für den Palacio de Primavera Reserva stammen von weingutseigenen Rebanlagen in der Gemeinde Alfaro. Dort herrscht ein kontinentales Klima mit mediterranen Einflüssen. Die 45 Jahre alten Reben werden von Winzer Gorka Etxebarria mit besonderer Behutsamkeit gepflegt. So kann dieser wunderbare Wein entstehen. Er verwendet für die Reifung des Rotweins sowohl französische als auch amerikanische Eichenfässer.Schon die Farbe ist ausdrucksstark, ein tiefes Rubinrot mit wunderschönen glänzenden Reflexen. In der Nase finden sich rauchige Noten, gepaart mit Noten von Gewürzen und Kräutern. Dazu kommen Aromen von Pflaumenmarmelade und ein Hauch von Zedernholz und Schokolade. The climate in this part of Rioja, with clear Mediterranean influence, provides excellent maturations which, combined with a low yield viticulture (5.000 kgrs/Ha. aproximately), result in modern Riojas with a “mediterranean soul”; wines with combine remarkable power with the elegance and harmony that have always been characteristic of the Rioja wines. Production area: Selected vineyards of Neviera and Casa Rossa, located in San Marzano district. The soil is mainly “terra rossa”, with a fine texture and generally a calcareous undergound with a few emerging rocks. The well-known redness of these soils is due to the presence of iron oxides. The climate is characterised by high temperatures all year round, very few rainfalls and a wide difference of temperature between night and day, which has a nice influence on the quality of grapes.
