Eigentlich ist das Weingut Cune eher aus der Region Rioja bekannt, aber auch in der Ribera del Duero besitzt das Weingut Rebflächen. Mit dem Cune Roble kommt ein zugänglicher, aber kraftvoller Wein ins Glas. Im Glas präsentiert sich der Wein lila und die Nase zeigt viel schwarze Frucht mit einer blumigen Note. Ergänzt um einen mineralischen Touch und Vanillearomen, die aus der 5-monatigen Reifung in amerikanischen Eichenfässern stammt.
Am Gaumen finden sich schöne Aromen von Lakritz und Vanille mit Noten von geröstetem Kaffee. Ein intensives Beerenaroma schließt am Ende den Geschmackseindruck ab. Im Finale runden leicht süßliche Tannine den angenehmen Nachgeschmack ab.
