This wonderfully accessible Rioja from Telmo Rodriguez, which is not aged in wood, smells of fresh black fruit with spicy nuances. Juicy, fresh, soft and still noticeably young on the palate - nevertheless a wonderful, fruit-driven taste experience.

The Telmo Rodríguez LZ Rioja DOC is the youngest and most accessible of Telmo Rodriguez's Riojas. Try a sophisticated red wine from Spain that can brighten up everyday life and enhance any special occasion. The El Coto Crianza is an authentic representative of the Rioja tradition, a dry red wine with an intense ruby red color from the famous Tempranillo grape.The perfect combination of red berries and the fine vanilla nuances from the barrique ageing.Soft tannins and excellent structure. Long finish, accompanied by fresh fruit. Not too complex, very harmonious and soft.The grapes for El Coto Crianza DOC come from the chalky soils of Rioja Alavesa. After pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured for between 12 and 14 months in new 225-liter American barrique barrels before being bottled and aged in the bottle for at least another 6 months.It is an ideal accompaniment to tapas, lamb, grilled meat or spicy vegetable dishes.
